This is a convenient located coffee shop, in the centre of the Poole Town Dolphin shopping centre, but you are sat drinking and eating in an open plan venue, looking at shoppers walking past and the views of Primark or Boots.....not my ideal choice. As such I feel the place lacks atmosphere. They sell a wide selection of drinks and light snacks and cakey type products but they are all over priced for what they are. I am only prepared to pay that sort of price in somewhere with more class and ambience really, rather than just for stopping for a snack mid shopping trip. The staff are not particularly friendly which doesn't help. The actual coffee tastes nice but again, not the same quality or taste as Costa Coffee or the M&S cafe. This Costa Coffee is situated down Poole High Street, outside of the Dolphin Shopping Centre. It has a nice and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well stocked. Obviously they sell coffees of all shapes and sizes and types, as well as cold drinks and frappes and smoothies. Not a cheap place to visit but it has class and the coffee is proper coffee! You can sit inside or out, the seating inside is either chairs or sofas, all clean and comfy. They have toilet facilites, albeit abit pokey. I usually stop there for coffee with my little one and we may indulge in one of their yummy pastries or muffins!! They always offer to carry my tray to the table as I am with a push chair. Rating: 4.00This is just what it is called - a tearoom, so don't expect a restaurant or lavish venue. It is a quaint and traditional tea room that serves light lunches, cakes and drinks. They do ice creams too. It is popular mainly with families and couple with dogs who have used the Country Park for walks & activities. We usually cycle from Holes Bay to the Park, reward ourselves with a cake & coffee and cycle back. The place is run by the council and as such they offer employment facilities to people with special needs but they are obviously guided and managed well. They have a place to park your bikes and you are allowed dogs outside where they provide fresh water too. You can eat inside or out. Bb's Coffee and Muffins serves coffee and muffins as you would expect, but also milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream and a small range of hot foods such as sausage rolls.

The muffins are all freshly baked - sometimes you can spot them taking a new batch out of the oven - and all the food is very delicious. The prices are high, but not exceedingly so - one pound fifty is a typical price for a muffin, and they are very large.

A huge downside however is the location. Being right in the middle of a busy shopping centre, this is not the quietest place to have a snack. Our family dropped in for lunch over easter holidays and i have to say we were not impressed with this place.
The food wasn't anything to write home about and prices seemed expensive for what we were presented with.
I found the staff to be rude too and we certainly were not made to feel welcome.
