The Talbot is a wonderful old Coaching Inn full of history and legends. It has some beautiful rooms and conference facilities including one brilliant room on the first floor which has a magnificent fire place. A great Training room!
I often take advantage of the great offers they have on meals such as two for one, or two courses for £10.

The quality of the food recently has varied depending on who is on duty! Having said that we had two excellent meals last week good quality, freshly made and generous portions.

In the Winter the fire in the bar is made daily so it's a great place to warm up and have a coffee or something stronger with friends.

There has been a change of manager recently and I think the place needs someone with passion and energy to turn it into a thriving hotel which feels like the heart and soul of Oundle.
