I took the kids to Burger King on Lower Parliament street in Nottingham city centre very near to Victoria Centre. Although it was a very busy Saturday lunch time we didn't have to wait for too long before we were served. There was a surprisingly good range to choose from with special kids meals . one of the kids had chargrilled chicken fillet strips whilst the other had the angus mini burger with cheese these come with fries or a grapple bag which is apples and grapes in a bag and a soft drink. Rectory Road Fish and Chip shops do the best Fish and Chips in West Bridgford by a long way.
As well as serving the best fish and chips in West Bridgford they are also consistently good as well.

The Chips are proper chippy chips and I have never had a dodgy portion.

The Fish is well done unlike many of the other fish and chip shops in Wesy Bridgford.

The Meat is also very reliable and tasty!

Price wise is it is superb and it is also in prime location for walking to the Forest ground before evening games and grabbing a chip cob for dinner.

This subway has a great location, itâ¬"s at the edge of corner house so after your film you can get out and have any sub of your choice. The actual restaurant is tiny, I have never been to one so small but all the usual sandwiches are available, made to your choice, tons of fillings and tons of salad or sauce. In nice weather there are seats on the pedestrian outside street. The staff always make great sandwiches, however I want it, they are friendly and the prices are not too bad, with offers on sub of the day.
I love this place especially in summer when I can chill with my subway.

This MacDonaldâ¬"s in the centre of Nottingham is the largest in the city so you would expect it to be good. But that is not the case, the floor is always sticky and the food seems to have smaller portions every time I go. The staff seem to not have a clue what theyâ¬"re doing and I would not call it fast food at all. It takes ages to queue and then ages to get your food while the staff seem to stand there doing nothing! One thing that I find most annoying, as a student you can get a free mcFlurry with a meal if you show your NUS card, however I was refused once for no reason at all.
It might be convenient but I would avoid it and go to one subway or somewhere else.

KFC has always been a favourite food place of mine. Regardless of whatever the press has said, the food taste good and always filled my belly when I was hungry. However, this KFC was my nearest one to where I lived and was always letting me down when I was in the mood for some chicken.

The outisde of the shop was like any other KFC in the UK, the red and blue colours along with white, inside was fairly dated, and had no-where to sit down. It had mirrors on either side of the walls and where in the shape of diamonds. As soon as you walked into the shop, you could see the counter (with a plastic shield of course). This particular chain of KFC had been robbed many times, thus the extra measures of security, there were security cameras everywhere and you had to slid your money underneath the plastic shield. Lovely.

The food was always good and tasted fantastic, thats when they actually had food in. If i had a pound for each time I had gone into that KFC on Alferton Road and They have replied 'We've ran out of chicken' I would be up there with Bill Gates. Ok, let me explain once again, Kentucky Fried CHICKEN, has run out of chicken...

So this is my reason for giving this KFC branch such a low score, how KFC can run out of chicken is beyond me. Also the staff could never hear what you were saying because the plastic shield was so thick, and sometimes would get your order wrong.
