I ordered from here a few weeks ago for delievery. I waited 1.5 hours and when they turned up said it was Â£8. It was only a donner which would normally be Â£4 at the most. We used Rosso for a works Christmas party.

The food was fantastic, all freshly made. The sausage sandwiches were a big hit and tasted really nice.

The sandwiches were packed with filling. The que at lunch time is always really long.

Chips - a best British staple. Gills isn't known for its range of food, or its setting, or price. When the chips are good, they are brilliant - crisp, stay separate, smell brilliant. When they're not good, they're just ok.

Pop your nose through the door, have a look and see if they are dark and wonderful looking, and dig in. If they're not, just walk on by. I've not tried anything else*, but its worth a visit for the chips alone.

The offers available for its punters are really good, including huge chip butties with sauce and a can of pop for Â£2 and 8" pizzas with chips and pop for Â£3. The pizzas are really nice and The Happy Chip also does beanies! The kebab meat is also really nice and they sell Irn Bru. Other very random items available for the discerning shopper include chocolate, cigarettes and toiletries, making The Happy Chip a one stop shop for all of your battered needs. One of the nicest takeaways in Newcastle. Brightly lit, and always clean and tidy, The Galley offers a wide range of takeaway food. The menu includes burgers, the nicest donner kebabs I've ever tasted, pizzas, chips and other fast food items. The food isn't the cheapest in Newcastle, but you can tell that you're paying for much better quality - the (large) pizza slice and chips with suace is Â£5 and absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very polite and efficient, and the queue goes down extremely quickly. It's also opposite a cashpoint, so there's no excuse not to visit! this place is fantastic, the restaurant is so bright and clean. The new decor coupled with plenty of cleaning staff ensure that it stays that way.
The menu as always with a mcdonalds, is cheap and good value and the children always love a happy meal.
The staff are lovely, they greated us with a smile and ensured that our large order was correct and they managed to get it together it a fast time so that everything was still hot - even though we had ordered a special order - they dodin't put things on the tray whilst they waited for it to be ready - they waithed first and then got the other items so it was still hot - Good thinking!this place is fantastic, the restaurant is so bright and clean. Kwok Pao located on Heaton Road, Heaton is by far the best Chinese Takeaway I have ever been to!

With a menu very similar to other Chinese Takeaways I was wondering what would differentiate this place from the rest, and then I orderedâ¬¦â¬¦â¬¦..

The food received was simply amazing and the portion sizes incredible, easily able to feed two. The first time I went I had Duck and it was very tender and the plum sauce fantastic, I have been back many times sincand simply cannot talk highly enough about the place!

The only bad thing I can think about is the closure along with all other Chineseâ¬"s on a Monday ïR

I was looking forward to my sandwich from Sketches as I had heard numerous reviews about the excellent menu and quality of food.

Upon arriving I was impressed with the menu as there was plenty of choice and some great combinations to be tried. I went for the Godfather which was a mix of meats with onions and peppers, it sounded delightful. The problem came in the preparation, each portion of everything was already wrapped in cling film, the portions were small and I was worried they could have been there for days, it just didnâ¬"t seem fresh.

The taste of the sandwich was ok, however, I found this sandwich and also other (I wanted to give it another chance to â¬Üwowâ¬" me) very dry which is not good!

Papa johnâ¬"s is a pizza takeaway chain in the same way as pizza hut, pizza express, dominoâ¬"s etc etc however, is not as good as any of the above, which is hard to believe as the list above also includes Dominoâ¬"s!

The service received over the phone at Papa Johnâ¬"s was poor, however, I was willing to ignore this as I had heard good things about the pizzaâ¬"s there, how wrong could I be? I ordered a meat feast pizza but found it to be unpleasant, the pizza base itself was piping hot, however, the meat on top appeared cold as if put on as an afterthought.

As you would expect from a normal takeaway it offers Pizza's, Burgers, Kebabs, Chips etc and on the whole the food is of a good standard particularly the Mixed Kebab priced at Â£6.

What is a little different about Pizza Knights is the size of the pizza's they offer! An 18" pizza can be purchased and by adding a bag of chips to the side the 'spend Â£12 and get a free 12" Garlic Bread' offer comes into play - a great feast for a hungary person/couple/family/feast!

When the guys who came up with this place were coming up with a name, they knew exactly what to call it. As Roy Walker from Catchphrase would tell you, â¬SSay what you seeâ¬. These guys seen that they had made the best kebab money can buy and so they named the place the â¬SNew Best Kebabâ¬. They arenâ¬"t lying. Yes, youâ¬"ll feel 5 times fatter after eating it but you already know that. The kebabs are mouth wateringly good and really areat least in my opinion, the best around. My first experience with KFC was in Barcelona. The place was a bit dirty, the food was cold and, to top it off, a tramp from the street came in, asked us in broken English to leave her some when we were finished and spat while she spoke, all over our food. Her arm was oozing something and she was clearly on drugs. As you can imagine, this somewhat tarnished my view of KFC. Luckily I gave it another shot recently, this time back home in good old blighty. No tramps asking for my meal was a huge bonus. This place was very clean and service was fast. I still think you donâ¬"t get enough for your buck at any KFC though.
