Millies Cookies has little booths in a couple of places around Newcastle, in Eldon squre and here in this smaller mini-mall. The smell of the cookies permeates the air throughout the building and makes a visit to the shop almost irresistable!
The cookies themselves are very nice, appropriately moist and sweet. There is a good choice available. You can also get giant cookies made up with iced messages written on them. This leads me into talking about what I hate about Millies: they always have a display of their giant cookies but they mustn't change the display very often so the cookies are always dusty and old-looking. They look anything but eadible. It really puts me off buying sometimes!
You can also get milkshakes here but they are actually just whizzed-up icecream with a straw! I got a chocolate mint drink lately and it had hard lumps in it, which isn't really a drink at all! Deneâ¬"s Deli is located in a picturesque spot in Jesmond Dene which immediately gives it an edge over other sandwich shops â¬ there are plenty of places close to have a nice sit down and enjoy your food!

The first thing I noticed about the Deli is the size of the menu, there is simply so much choice, I took an age to finally pick what I wanted (and I must also say I popped in soon after finishing my first to get my second choice also!).

The staff are friendly and the sandwiches of a real good standard. Prices are very reasonable especially when you consider the amount of filling that goes in to them

The Mistletoe Bakery is situated within Jesmond and supplies some of the greatest baked goods in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Bakery supplies all the usual goods such as freshly baked bread, pasties and sausage rolls. It also provides sweet foods such as cakes and biscuits. The prices of the goods are also extremely reasonable.

The bakery is open twenty four hours a day apart from Saturday nights and it constantly has fresh goods being baked. Although there seems to be many drunken revellers who make stop at the bakery after nights out it always has a friendly atmosphere and the workers always have a smile. Excellent food, highly recommended.
