Always seems to be heaving, remember to book a table before you venture out.

The food is great, not fantastic! Better than average though. The decor is lovely, I like it that it is modern, sometime the old Indian decors can look very outdated.

The staff are ftriendly and efficient. They didn't have a table and wanted us to sit in some little table that was along the corrider, the table should not have even been there, this is why the score is lower.

The menu is good, but some of it a bit over priced. It seems that if you want good food these days, you have to pay quite a bit more to get it, which is a pity. as we like to dine out...

Indian Gossip holds a beautiful decor, we thought we try it out and if we like we would make a group booking for our anniversary dinner. Well, looks can be deceiving as we all know.

It was Sunday evening and the restaurant was completely empty a part from one very quiet family. We were approached by what seems like the manager or owner of the restaurant. He took our drinks order in a cold, humourless, efficient manner, a few drinks were unable due to so called mad rush of customers they had the night before. Wine was overpriced and so was the Port my friend found.

Our meals came and one of the guys ordered a mixed grill, it was particularly small. The food was tasted okay, if you are into your food like I am and I have a mum who can cook the best Asian food, I know when I am eating GOOD Indian food. Pity, it wasnâ¬"t! We wonâ¬"t be going there again, and I definitely wonâ¬"t be holding my anniversary dinner there.

This place is absolutely best in London. We have tried so many places and haven't found one that had had the most variety of sushi and also so fresh and delicious like Maki Yaki's.Service is great an v. friendly.try their maki yaki salad(the best ever!!).also don't forget to order tempura ice cream in the end, this just gives the finishing touch to your sushi experience.Very highly recommended.Absolutely Maki Yummy....This place is absolutely best in London. it was recommended go to this restaurant from a friend, and a keen love of thai cuisine, however, it was probably the worst thai meal i have ever had, to the point that i felt the need to write this review, i have never felt the need to write a review before!.

Firstly they had forgotten my booking, the restuarant was only half full but it took ages to even be given menu's.
The food was rediculously over priced for what it was.
The food also was very average, we had to send the sticky rice back as it was truely not edible.

There was very little vegetarian options and we had to specially ask for this.

overall, bad food, bad service, over priced. My husband and I went to Lydon's in Wimbledon Village on the 28 February 2009; on arrival the staff were friendly, approachable and far too enthusiastic to seat us by the door!! We asked to be moved and we were. Once seated, we were given the run down of the specials, they all sounded lovely, although, the waitress was very fast speaking and it was hard to understand what was what. After browsing over the main menu and not fancying anything on it, I listened to her speak again to the table opposite, I caught her explain the FISH option and ordered the Sea Bass, when it eventually arrived it wasn't the best I had ever tasted (slightly dry, although good size and accompaniments) My husband ordered the FILLET STEAK, which he asked for medium, for this type of restaurant, especially being from the grill you would expect it to be exactly that, unfortunately it wasnâ¬"t, the outside was medium but the middle was still very RARE. We were not asked if everything was to our satisfaction, nor would we have probably disagreed at the time. The wine selection was however good (although at a premium) but the ambience felt slightly forced. We like this friendly Turkish local and it deserves to be more popular.

Start with a glass of Raki to invoke that Mediterranean atmosphere...the mezze are
delicious with great Borek and Patlican.

Try the Turkish wine and there is a good shish selection with tasty
lamb, chicken, kofte and even fresh sardines griled over charcoal and served
with crunchy, colourful salads.

Save room for the fabulous juicy apricots stuffed with scented cream cheese and
nuts.

If you want a pleasant change from the chain atmosphere of Wagamama
2 doors along try Shish!We like this friendly Turkish local and it deserves to be more popular.

Went to Reds for a drink and a bite to eat before going to see Quantum of Solace at the Odeon. Reds is unpretentious and has no background music blaring. Service is good and the food is remarkably tasty and good value.

My vegetarian companion enjoyed her 'Creole' burger which turned out to be filled with a huge chunk of fish, grilled to perfection. I tucked in to a 'Hawaiian' burger which was a standard beefburger topped with a pineapple ring. Simple, but enjoyable.

We'll be back there next week for a meal prior to going over the road to the theatre. I could become a regular!

I have been to Chang Thai on numerous occasions and will keep on going over and over again. I have tried many dishes on the menu and so far they have all been delicious and full of flavour. All the ingredients are fresh and prepared to order. The menu is simple yet varied and the prices are really good too. The service has always been very friendly and like the relaxed atmosphere of the place. highly recommended!I have been to Chang Thai on numerous occasions and will keep on going over and over again. All the dishes we've tried so far are of a high quality - the chicken is delightfully tender and fresh, onion b's are lovely too, as is the Nan. The staff are really nice, but they should be for the prices they charge!
Its well worth a try...

The food is conventional but good Italian fair. The staff generally stay on the right side of friendly, and birthday tables are usually given a raucous 15 seconds of fame.

The pizza is better than the pasta. Prices are standard.

An almost out-of-town sibling of the wonderful San Lorenzo of Beauchamp Place, which maintains an almost mystical attraction for high society partly due to its refusal to take credit cards, making it necessary to be seriously cashed up - or be well enough known to Mara Berni to write a cheque. Ghigo Berni presides over the Wimbledon restaurant - or I suppose would do if he was there; but on the night we went he was absent and the staff were disappointingly ordinary, trying to give us an ill-favoured table even though we were well-dressed and the place was half empty The conservatory which might have been more atmospheric was closed and the rest of the decor is generally somewhat '70's trat'.

That aside, the food was excellent: delicious lobster salad, succulent calves' liver, an exceptional fillet of beef and a mouthwatering mixed grill of fish and shellfish. We finished sharing a beautifully well-balanced semifreddo al vin santo, the meal all washed down with a decent Pinot Bianco for only £17.50. £170 for four people including service made it a pretty reasonable night out - and they take credit cards!
