The food is conventional but good Italian fair. The staff generally stay on the right side of friendly, and birthday tables are usually given a raucous 15 seconds of fame.

I have been going to Thomas Marshall-Manifold for over 10 years. I am 47 and have found relief for various injuries, including tennis elbow and whiplash injury caused by a car accident.
He has also treated me for allergies, headaches, bladder infections and premenstrual symptoms. I go to the clinic once every 6 months or when I feel I need to for â¬Übalancing treatmentsâ¬". This has helped to keep me very healthy for the last few years.
Also, some time ago my 5 years old son experienced continual ear and sinus infections, resulting in him consuming repeatedly antibiotics. They didnâ¬"t seem to be helping, so I took him to doctor Marshall-Manifold and after six months of treatment he has had, to date, no problems. His immune system is very strong and at 16 years of age, he is a very healthy young man.
I cannot recommend Thomas Marshall-Manifold more highly.

I am an experienced enthusiastic lover of quality Thai food!!
Our group of five spanned an age range of 50 years yet, so good was the food at Chang Thai,everyone thoroughly enjoyed every dish that we had ordered.

My only regret is that I live about twenty stops away on the dreaded Northern Line, otherwise I would become a regular.

For years Sia food and wine has been used by young children aged around 13-17 years for purchasing alcohol and cigarettes.
Known by them as 'Haydons' they make their way there to buy alcohol and go drinking in near-by parks.
The staff there (2 asian men) know that the children are underage as when they purchase alcohol they tell them to, and qoute, 'Put it deep in your bag', or if there are other customers in the shop they wait until they have left to serve the kids.
This has gone un noticed since I was in my early teens, now nearly 18 it's still going on and more and more kids hear of it and go there to get drink.
This place should have it's licence removed as it is using it in the wrong way.
They are helping add to the rise in young people drinking from an early age.

The picture isn't mine, but it looks almost the same as what I found in our family bucket.
Imagine enjoying your food then taking a bite into a piece of, what you thought was wing, and a brain falling onto the table.
That is exactly what happened to me in Wimbledon KFC.
My friend who I was with threw up at the sight of it and on closer inspection of the piece of chicken we noticed an eye socket an the other piece of the brain.

I showed the piece of chicken to the staff member at the till and asked to speak to the manager. She took the piece off me and chucked it in the bin, I told the manager how discussed I was demanded my money back, to which she told me, sorry we can't do that, have another piece of chicken for free.
I'm sorry, but after seeing that, I didn't ever want to go there again.
After a long disagreement the manager said, and I qoute...
"It's not our fault, sometimes the chefs, they miss bits when cleaning the chicken"
This is NOT the attitude to have!
They refused to give me my money back, even after being threatened with the health services.

I have not yet been in ANY cafe Nero where there has been an English staff member.
I think it's quite nice that they keep authentic.
The coffee at cafe Nero gives a real taste of Italy and the food that is offered with it makes the experience even more fantastic.
Their prices are fair for the quality and service that you receive.
You can also pick up a loyalty card that you get stamped after every purchase, once you have a full card you will receive a free large coffee of your choice.I have not yet been in ANY cafe Nero where there has been an English staff member.

The Wimbledon Odeon is a great place to go with the family or friends to see the latest film, it offers great seating services and multi screens so you always have choice of what to see.
The only downside of the Odeon is the prices.
An adult ticket has now been bumped up to Â£8
A child at Â£5 and student at Â£6.70.

McChina used to be a tiny little takeaway service based on the Haydons road, it offered a delicious range of excellent Chinese food at a very good price.
In the decade or so that has passed, McChina has evolved and expanded into a magnificent, elegant restaurant that not only offers it's same great takeaway service and value for money, but also a beautiful place to dine and experience the taste of China right here in Wimbledon, now know as McChina Eating.

For many years their motto has been 'mei sik', literally meaning 'beautiful eating', McChina Eating offer dishes prepared to the highest standard using the finest and freshest ingredients.

Bar Eclipse - if you didn't know it was there you could easily walk past this place during the day (although in the summer they do outside street tables) and remain oblivious but at night the smart looking polite door staff give it away (although depending how busy it is or the look of your company you may be told it is too busy or a private function... pleased to say I've never been on the receiving end of this).

The staff are charming, informative, open to ideas of new drinks and are very sharp on the table service no matter how busy it gets - and they always have a smile on their faces.

I tend to get there early to ensure a comfy wall sofa seat and begin my people watching, which gets more amusing as the night goes on and the rich Villagers get their party on and my delicious cocktails flow steadily!
The drinks are worth a visit alone, with a huge selection of great quality spirits, these guys mix up some mean drinks that are discreetly mind blowing and yummy at the same time. Fresh fruits and delectable combinations keep you coming back. Average price is Â£6/7 a cocktail.

They have a DJ later in the night that generally plays house music of a latin/brazillian vibe and suits the mood perfectly - though you will be stuck for space if you wanna shake your thang to the music.

This bar is owned by the Ignite group who also have Boujis (South Kens), Volstead (Mayfair), Cocoon (Regent st), Bumpkin (Notting Hill) and the OQO bar(Islington)on their books - you know you are in good hands!

After our usual last minute dinner spots were too busy or didn't have a favourite dishes running that night, my noyfriend and I thought we'd try out the Fire Stables and I'm glad we did...

It was a Thursday night and it was heaving! From the bar to the main restaurant area, we luckily nabbed the last table. There was a great buzz and atmosphere to the place.
The wine selection is good as were the mix of fresh baked complimentary breads.

We order 2 starters to share, my boyfriends duck spring rolls were delicious - very rich and satisfiyingly filled with soft, juicy duck. Sadly, my starter never arrived - to which the friendly, smiling camp waiter suggested that we never ordered it - but if he had actually written our order down maybe this could of been avoided...

My partners pan cooked chicken breast wrapped in parma ham was nice but a little bland, my salmon on a bed of shredded crisp lettuce and spring onions with a hoi sin style drizzled sauce was yummy but would no way of been enough for a someone with a larger appetite.

Service was quite slow as there was only 2/3 people serving all night and as I said it was very busy.

I had the chocolate brownie with expresso ice cream - although the brownie was a touch too hard it was very rich and fudgy textured in the center and went superbly with the delicious ice cream that was perfectly creamly without the sickly, over sugared offerings from many coffee flavoured desserts.

This is fast becoming a regular spot for my friends and I, it's great if the lads want to watch the sport while the girls gossip and drink lashings of good wines, or for really quite good food! Be quick tho as it gets very busy - the fish cakes sell out fast! The tapas style plates of dishes including chicken skewers, serrano ham with stuffed pepperdew peppers, crayfish tail bruschetta, and all the usual nibbles and sandwiches. The clientelle varies of all ages and types but all are welcome posh or not. The staff are lovely, laid back, cheery and helpful.
The place has a relaxed, friendly vibe, with tables, sofa's by the window and TV screens or more suitable tables for eating and a bit of privacy in back of the venue. It also has a small beer garden that is open on warmer days.

If you plan to eat and use your Taste London card, you need to call and book ahead first but can do so an unlimited amount of times. The staff are always very friendly, and they deliver very quickly to local addresses, and the prices are very good for the portion sizes served! For instance 10 chicken nuggets and chips for Â£3.50 or a half pounder cheeseburger and chips for Â£4.50.

Located on the edge of Wimbledon Common, next to the Windmill Museum, is the Windmill CafÃ© & Tea Room. I visited the tea room for lunch one day with a friend who lives near by. She had pre-warned me that she hadn't had very good experiences there in the past, so I wasn't expecting much.

It isn't the nicest looking place - it is in need of a freshen up I think. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, though they were quite busy. You have to place your order at the counter and you will be given a number, which will be yelled out once your meal is ready. Take your pick of a table inside or out.

Food wise, you can order one of the big breakfasts, sandwiches, toasties, baguettes, other hot meals and there is also a selection of cakes and pastries.

I had a Ham & Cheese toasted sandwich (only lightly toasted so ham was cold and cheese not melted) and Jen had a Bacon & Avocado baguette. The food was ok, but nothing special. Oh well, I had been warned!Located on the edge of Wimbledon Common, next to the Windmill Museum, is the Windmill CafÃ© & Tea Room. I visited the tea room for lunch one day with a friend who lives near by. She had pre-warned me that she hadn't had very good experiences there in the past, so I wasn't expecting much.

It isn't the nicest looking place - it is in need of a freshen up I think. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, though they were quite busy. You have to place your order at the counter and you will be given a number, which will be yelled out once your meal is ready. Take your pick of a table inside or out.

Food wise, you can order one of the big breakfasts, sandwiches, toasties, baguettes, other hot meals and there is also a selection of cakes and pastries.

When I have been to The Light House (just off of Wimbledon Village) I've had nice meals, thought the staff were amenable, presentation of the food is always good and the menu selection is varied and sounds de-lish!

but

I always have that feeling that it is missing something, or trying to be something it's not?
The food sounds more interetsing than what it actually is - why I don't know, a bit like it's missing a key ingredient and a lot of people I've spoken to have felt the same to a certain extent.
I think the set 2 or 3 course menus are good value
Also, touchs like the inner courtyard, it gives a slight Moroccan/Med' feel to the place - def' plus point.

Don't get me wrong - I'd go back but it's one of those places you'd find it hard to get excited about.
