This pub's a bit on the expensive side but nice enough - on the inside. Unfortunately a VERY nasty experience with the doormen when I'd left but my girlfriend was still inside looking for me. On refusing to let me in, they grab me and ripped my Â£120 coat to shreds. The management didnt want to know and obviously do not care even with a formal complaint - not a place I'll ever be visiting again.

This pub has newly opened, and is fast becoming the place to be seen in Shepherd's Bush.
The interior is amazing..and the food great(try the triple cooked chips..)They have an extensive wine list, and the wine guy really knows his stuff. The beer is excellent, and if you're into cocktails, they do a 'mean' whisky sour.
Shepherd's Bush REALLY needed this.

I had Deliverance at a friend's house a couple of years ago and was so impressed with the quality and how good it all looked, but they never delivered to where I live. Then I saw a Deliverance bike around my area a couple of weeks ago, checked it out and it turns out they've just opened a site near me! It all looks totally different from how I remember, but the food is the same, and the salads are better than ever. Slightly hard to find veggie restaurant on Goldhawk Rd, strangely with cow heads adorning the outside.

I've been eating here for 10 years, and the quality is just as good as the first time. The food is imaginitive and perfectly cooked, bringing some real interest to veggie food which even the confirmed carnivores I have dragged there have loved.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the downstairs room is perfect for a group of friends to eat and laugh together. And the crayons on the table keep even the most bored husband occupied.

BYO alcohol helps keep the price down, and if you run out there is an off license just over the road.

The portions at first look appear small, but you will find them all very suprisingly filling - I blame the large plates!

A usefull last stop jimmy point on the way home on the Ealing broadway branch when your blader is full after a few too many pints.

This is a very nice address if you are around, looking for a good place to eat in. Although they also do take-away and home delivery, I would recommend to have your food in the restaurant: the staff is very kind and nice, a great attention is paid to the service and to the decoration, and the food is excellent. Tasty, well presented, with a great variety of dishes for all the tastes. Overall a very good destination for a Thai restaurant with a price range that is totally in the market place.This is a very nice address if you are around, looking for a good place to eat in. In this case The Defector's Weld on the corner of Wood Lane. As this isn't about the DF I'll pass over more details for now.

The H&C line station, soon to be renamed something alopng the lines of "Shepherd's Bush Market" or somesuch, lies at the north end of Shepherd's Bush Common, aka Green. Walking directly south of it will bring you to the Central Line Shepherd's Bush station. Inbetween are the usual fast food joints and mobile phone touts and one or two decent charity/2nd hand shops. And at least two pubs.. (Knew there was a reason for this review...)

Opposite and adjacent to the station, lying between it and Goldhawk Road station is Shepherd's Bush Market. A fine, diverse and sometimes interestingly populated (i.e. try and avoid on the QPR home Saturdays) linear stretch of stalls and shops set alongside the tracks. So, cheeringly, should an H&C train ever derail here it would have something soft to land on fifteen feet below.

Lots of reasons just to head to Shepherd's Bush, but avoid the Green itself. Unless crossing it to get the the shopping centre/cinema, huge Wetherspoons pub - or onward down Rockley Road to St Simon's and the residential strangeness beyond. The Green, especially the kids playground, is more a fun hangout for various local chemically assisteds and alleged muggers (or worse Chuggers!). Always a fun passtime watching grown men peeing up against a tree next to the child-filled tennis courts on a hot summers day rather than walk five meters to the toilets...In this case The Defector's Weld on the corner of Wood Lane. This is seriously the best cinema at this side of London. Why?

First of all they have 12 almost equally big screens. This means that you don't have to worry what screen the movie is showing, as they are all equal. The screens are about 5 to 6 meter high, which is acceptable but compensated because of the fact that the rooms aren't that big. In other words: any seat is a good seat.

Secondly, the seats are huge. Legs space is more than necessary. This makes it for me (1m85 Dutch guy) the ultimate cinema as I need some leg space. The sound is furthermore very good and I have never seen any "out of focus" projections.

Finally, you can order or reserve tickets online. There are digital terminals at the cinema if you want to skip the queue at the normal counter which also servers food. The big important thing is that the price is pretty low in comparison to some popular cinemas in the centre of London. They also accept students cards, which makes it a even more interesting price.

This is my "default" cinema to go for all those reasons. Any bad comment? Yes: they only serve M&Ms with nuts, which I really don't like.

I haven't been back since the no-smoking law came in, but the only thing I used to not like about this place was the smoke...

A great French restaurant with a fabulous selection of wine. The food has been slightly iffy on a couple of occasions but it's always good for a stonking plate of cheese. Now I might be a bit biased here, as this place has been like a footballing spiritual home for me for many a year now, but this place is a quality London boozer. With simple dÃ©cor and a good selection of beers, lagers and wine this is a great pub for a pre/post Loftus Rd drink or even to meet up with friends in the Shepherds Bush area. With simple but well cooked food on offer it is also a good place to grab some pub grub, in particular I would recommend the Bushranger or Steak breakfast, whether you are preparing for a big night out or still recovering from one, it certainly hits the target

This is one of many take away joints on Uxbridge road. While it is not much different from any of the others, it is very cheap if you collect your pizza. Pizza's come only as thick base, none of you fancy stonebaked or farmhouse style here. They are generous enough with toppings and its low prices make it ideal for a takeaway on the way home from one of the many bars in the area. quite good thai place. The only problem with this place is that it is very dark inside so don't get expectation about the atmo...

A polish gem! small place- authentic Polish staff including the owner who is dressed very poetically... It is a very welcoming environment. The staff is somehow trained to say â¬Üthank youâ¬" after each action... it really feels as if you are outside London...
