Cafe Plus - Fantastic, friendly, fast, reasonable breakfast by rodomel

There are tons of great restaurants in West Hampstead West End Lane, but sometimes it is nice to simply eat a great, English breakfast fry-up in a clean and relaxed environment. And that is what you can find at the Plus Cafe... great food *typical sandwiches, pies, and such), simple ingredients, and very friendly staff (I always get a good-bye).

The cafe and restaurant is small, but there is a great back room where I tend to plunk down for hours on end. Since I work from home it is nice to have a cafe where i can have a cuppa but also get breakfast and lunch. Why am I here so much? Free Wi-Fi... if you are a trusted regular, the owner will share the password (actually, she saw me using my computer during my visits and she offered it) - now that is what I call service. Also, if work gets a bit stressful, I can also get a glass of wine or grab a beer as they are fully licensed.
Really great find in the neighborhood, as I am new to the area and while I love the posh, I appreciate the simple. There's free WiFi access too so if you are working from home and want to get out of the house for a while, it;s great to come here with a laptop, order a cup of tea and a slice of cake and just quietly work away...occasionally stopping ofr a chat with the guys that work there. As it;s not on West End Lane it never gets stupidly busy on the weekend and you can always get a table. Ver ychilled, very nice.
