Sakura Japanese restaurant is the worst japanese restaurant I have ever been in my life. Awful services! I arrived the restaurant in the afternoon. And I and my frd requested another table due to the noisy environment. We sat down, and one of the staff came and requested us to move to another table due to the closure of the particular area. We moved to a 4 person table and the manager came to us, and took our menus away from us very rudely, without saying a word, and forced us to another table which is the original one. We refused and the guy just stared at us very rudely. I saw Abbey Clancy in here the other day! I work in Soho and Zebrano is probably our work's second home...it's always so chilled out in a good way. Drinks are lovely, cocktails in particular and so cheap compared to everywhere else. Food is lush and they do these cheeky sharing platters that fill the whole 'after work, drinking but hungry but don't want a whole dinner yet' hole. A little (well quite big downstairs actually) Soho gem.I saw Abbey Clancy in here the other day! I wouldn't really go out of my way to go to Babble but it works well as an after works drinks spot.

It has an happy hour(s) from 5 - 7pm and is generally full of office workers from around the area.

The outside gets full of smokers and the door staff can be a bit stroppy later in the evening but I think thats more to do with the area/image they think they have.

It's quite typical of most the LateNightLondon group bars, looks all modern and trendy but is really done on the cheap "all that glitters is not gold" springs to mind again (Digress, Loop, Agenda...)

Drinks are average price for this area but below quality really.

Staff are OK if you know them but generally quite moody.

I have always liked Mount Street despite the fact that the most unpleasant person whom I have ever encountered used to have an office there (he has since moved - though not, as I had rather hoped, to HM Prison Wandsworth).
On a drizzly autumn day this place was totally heaving.
Very close to the Connaught Hotel, Delfino is housed in one of those splendid redbrick buildings no doubt owned by his Grace the Duke of Westminster. I am not sure if his Lordship likes pizzas but, if he does, this would be a place he would go. A fabulous selection and, by Mayfair standards, fairly priced (lunch for two plus coffee and mineral water was around Â£30). Most of the other punters seemed to be hedge fund managers in a hurry. So service was spectacularly fast, efficient and very friendly - from the manager's greeting on arrival to the time we left.
Tables are jam packed together; so good for a quick bite

I was treated to dinner at Umu by my wonderful boyfriend and what a treat it was. On approach down a back alley in Mayfair, the facade of the restaurant isn't particularly imposing. I liked the panel which said 'Touch Here' - by placing your hand on it, the entrance door slides open. A bit cool.

On first impressions, the restaurant was very sleek indeed. Dark wooden tables lined the windows and there was a central bar style of seating, with a chef concentrating hard on slicing some fish.

We were talked through the menu by our charming waiter, and a rather hefty menu at that. There was normal a la carte, and then a sashimi and sushi menu, and lastly the Kaiseki menus. Kaiseki is a speciality of Kyoto and is a banquet style of meal. It is said to be an art form that balances the taste, texture, and appearance of food.

We decided to go with a Kaiseki menu. Two seasonal appetisers came cold; delicious. The flavour combinations were very clever indeed. A highlight was slowly cooked eel wrapped in marinated ginger.

Next, the sashimi. Yellowtail, fatty tuna (I dribble at the memory) and sesame crusted mackerel. All super fresh, all delcious. Our waiter told us that the Japanese usually save a piece of fish for the end, whereby they wrap this fish and some grated daikon with the shiso leaf provided, and dunk it in the soy sauce. This we tried; it was interesting. The boyfriend proclaimed it delicious with the fatty tuna, but I found the slightly astringent tang of the leaf overpowered my yellowtail.

Next, a tofu-like (but was actually egg) stuffed with minced prawn in a savoury broth. Great texture and wobble. Here, our menus branched off as one of us had chosen the sushi royte. So while I had cold vegetables such as aubergine, pepper, turnip and okra with two pieces of octopus in a bonito jelly, the boyfriend had 3 pieces of nigiri. This was my least favourite dish of the meal. The flavours of the vegetables were very pure and fresh, balancing the octopus well, but there wasn't a lot to it.

We then had a Shabu Shabu; a box each, complete with stock and a fierce tealight to keep it all cooking. Vegetables such as mushrooms, leeks and cabbage were provided as well as some thinly sliced fish and dipping sauces. All good fun, and the ponzu sauce was a favourite.

The meal was drawing to a close with just a couple of courses left. A rather plain mushroom rice was jazzed up with all sorts of pickled vegetables and a deeply savoury red miso. Dessert was a highlight; plum seed jelly with seasonal fruits. Light and refreshing.

I loved the meal we had here; it's unlike anything I've eaten before, and it was all beautifully presented. The waiting staff were charming and inobtrusive. My only gripe is that they served some (ok, I counted; 3) of the courses while I had popped to the bathroom and so I missed some descriptions. So that's what that 1 remaining star is all about really.

Having been to a couple of apple stores I must say that this one is the best, uber cool and chic, well it would be it is full of all things apple and not the granny smith variety either. Had to sort out an ipod for a gift and wanted the red one so did eventually have to go on line to get it but never mind, just loved the apple store and the staff were helpful. Am i a mac user, well, used to have a windows pc but am now firm convert to all things apple. The sleek white design of the desk and lap top computers is so stylish and usable that I will never go back to boring old windows. I would highly recommend Rocket for eating in the restaurant rather than a place to go for drinks as it gets very crowded. However, I have only been on a weekend so it will no doubt be quieter in the week. It has a very cosy feel in the restaurant and the food is fantastic. Try the tuna steaks- absolutely fabulous. The prices aren't too bad either. The restaurant is upstairs so you're not distracted/interrupted by the busy/noisy crowds at the bar. The bar becomes very very busy with extremely limited seating. The staff service is very good- extremely polite and very quick service. As a coffee shop chain, i like Starbucks probably the most of all. However, thats not to say its perfect. As a chain you know exactly what to expect when you step through the door, you know the types of coffee they sell, and you know what types of food as well. Incidentally, the cakes they have taste fabulous but are a little expensive. The sandwiches are also good on the whole, but occasionally a little stale - i don't know how long they keep them on sale for?! I love the fact that the large coffees come in a huge mug! Iâ¬"m not entirely sure as to why Iâ¬"m drawn to this place, for a start the food is distinctly average. If a Yank was to turn up here, she or he will be initially disappointed with the portions, for they were certainly un-American in size and quantity. Neither am I enthralled with the Plasma Screens featuring American sports but the folks who frequent here are a consistently lively bunch, which can only suggest that theyâ¬"re primarily responsible for the great ambience.

I must say that the burgers and hot dogs were pretty much decent. I canâ¬"t help but find that the sauces and marinades that came with dishes tasting almost synthetic-like. Past experiences included a half-cooked chicken that was returned and rewarded with a properly cooked double portion and the bland Clam Chowder was sadly clamless. My daughter thought the fries were stupendous, the bottomless soft drinks a bonus and getting your hands sticky and grubby with the ribs was part of life. You get the gist. This place can get very very busy, but the great staff manages to hold everything together. I prefer to dine at the Deli section as I find the Dining Room area in the basement too cavernous and claustrophobic.

I suppose my repeat visits to Bodeanâ¬"s are probably down to the pomp and circumstance of an American eatery, which I feel utterly comfy and easy with.

Anyone who likes sandwich should come here as they make good fresh sandwiches here.I like the sandwiches here and their buns are fresh everyday,Most sandwich shops here do not change their buns and that can make a sandwich not taste so good.

We dined here on a 40% off deal through another website. I found the restaurant to be rather lacking in ambience, especially as we were sat at the back in close proximity to a group of loud and very obnoxious pensioners.

The food was very flavoursome. However, the lamb I ordered was meant to be lamb 3 ways, one of them being a stuffed saddle of lamb which they replaced with a lamb chop and didn't tell me about it. Very naughty of them. Unfortunately I only noticed when I thought back to it the next day.

The waiting staff were very professional, if a bit cold.

Well this is located in quite a busy area so its hard to get your order in quickly.I have been here a few times to order food,I find the food here to be quite delicious.The food here is good and the best food to get from here would be the sandwiches as everything else takes really long to make.

This place is very pleasant when there aren't many people in there, but when you get a few of the after-workers it becomes a little bit of a nightmare - its very difficult to get a seat, or even stand at that point.

Besides that, however, its a very nice trendy-but-warm feeling bar, a good selection of a beers and a friendly atmosphere. I found the staff here to be fairly friendly, and considering some of the other pubs in the area that is a real bonus!

Its a great pub to go to at lunchtime in particular, and I prefer the upstairs bar then.

I would recommend it to anyone that just wants to grab a bite to eat and a pint.

I have a slight sushi obsession and this place was walking distance from work so I'd say I've spent the majority of my take-away lunches munching away on their sushi.

Unfortunately, Yoshino has been kicked out of the Japan Centre basement but they are promising to re-open it somewhere 'close' in October. The dim sums are fairly hit and miss...a bit overpriced for what you get. The jasmin tea with the opening flowers is pretty cool. I have the pleasure of working down the street from Aurora and every visit has been more than satisfying. In fact, it's been a jaw dropping orgasm.

The service is always next to none, with friendly stuff who know the menu and the wine-list inside out. I've had the pleasure of taking my friends, colleagues, clients and even my no-one-is-a-better-cook-than-me Greek mother to Aurora and it's been a great experience for every single one of us.

It's romantic with a boutique ambiance that's truly hard to find nowdays in a city obsessed with sterile modernity and clean geometric lines.
