You had better find this pub soonish before the rest of the world gets there! We visited on the advice of Fay Maschler (Evening Standard 16th July) and can only say how delighted we were to find such a welcoming and unpretentious local. The menu is stuffed with unusual dishes all from a strong British home and laced with a touch of the Irish, try the Coddle Pie with Colcannon or Arbroath Smokies with soft duck egg on top. Delicious. There is a feel of country fayre about the pub and you will be just at home with the real ales (Blacksheep/Hooky/Addlestones Cider) as one might with the concise but excellently chosen wine list, of which no less than 12 are available by the glass. The atmosphere is really pleasant and thankfully calm for a London pub, staff are attentive and seem to take a great interest you. Can get busy so advisable to book. DO NOT order from here on their website - the postcodes listed are apparently a guide to futility. After placing a very large order (Â£50) and waiting over an hour and a half, I called to check on my order but no branch of the chain would take responsibility for it. I was hung up on by one branch and when I finally found someone who could even find my order on their system I was told that it hadn't even been made. When they finally found which branch was making it, it seems my order for NW1 was being made in RICHMOND. Not exactly local to Camden!

I am still waiting for my food over 2 hours later with no update on when or if it will arrive - this despite the confirmation email I received from their site and my card being charged for the Â£50.

What a amazing shop! The best roses I ever seen! These roses are not just beautiful (full of colours, long stems, etc)....they're high quality too....last ones I bought lasted more than a week in my flat....! This was the second time i went to RossoPomodoro and i have to say its been great both times. I haven't ben to the one in Fulham but to the one in Monmouth street covent garden. I think the building used to be one of the many chinese paces in the area......

The waiters are friendly and know about the menu. The pizzas are excellent and really remind me of what you get in those little pizzerie in Italy. You can tell they import most of the ingredients as the pizzas taste authentic...this place is not like a pizza express!!

A pizza will set you back about Â£9 and pasta about the same which is not ridiculus for this part of town

The only slightly negative thing for a non italian speaker is the menu is pretty much in Italian so if you're not familiar with those rural cheeses some of the ingredients will appear to be alien but the waiters will gladly help you through it.....

I have been going to Aubergine since Gordon Ramsey was the launch chef and have carried on since he famously "walked out" with the majority of his "loyal" staff and set up at Royal Hospital Road on his own in pretty quick time.

The restaurant continues to produce great French Cuisine backed up by a super wine list.

William Drabble has a talent for procuring excellent seasonal, mostly local ingredients and turning out exceptional French influenced food.

Aubergine is great for a special occassion in the evening and still have one of the best bargain set lunches in London (at least for this end of the market)

We went twice to Langan's Coq d'Or and both times we loved it. The cuisine tends a lot on the French side but a touch of English cuisine makes the food really unique.

The wines are good too - We had an excellent New Zealand red last time we went and we keep talking about it!

A great little Italian jewel.

There are daily specials on the blackboard that usually include a fish and meat main and a couple of pasta dishes.

The unchanging menu has some very good Antipasti like Parma Ham with smoked mozzarella and rocket, carpaccio and grilled sardines. The pasta dishes are excellent , authentic and well prepared - the orchiette with brocolli , sausage and tomato sauce and Tortelogni with pancetta , cream, broad beans and porcini mushrooms are superb.

Deserts are ok and the coffee is perfect.A great little Italian jewel.

Vamma can be great 4 or even 5 star but suffers from inconsistency .

The chicken tikka is usually outstanding as are most of the meat and vegetarian curries.

On some days the food can be poor and I can only think that a neophyte is on the stoves.

Vammagi the delivery service is ok but not a patch on the restaurant so if you want takeaway collect from the Kings road restaurant and do not order from the delivery service who have kitchens elsewhere.Vamma can be great 4 or even 5 star but suffers from inconsistency .

a legend alongs kings road- mainly because its one of the cheapest and most lax clubs with regards to ID, been several times and its been full of a very young crowd of lads with a few girls - not one for a chilled night - if your "on the pull" with a bunch of lads but will settle for drinking a lot its ok, otherwise theres far better options - rumi's or embargo are good.
+ pro's - cheap, young crowd, young cheesy music

You have to keep your eyes peeled to find this club and when you do manage to stumble on it, you have to ring the bell to be let in. The staff are very friendly. The food and drinks are decent and unpretentious - met my expectations. The place is simply furnished, cosy, relaxed and no longer clouded in smoke since the smoking ban. You can rock up in jeans & t-shirt and feel very comfortable here. Patrons are asked to keep the banter to an absolute minimum which is fine as you go to this sort of joint mainly for the music. I've never had a bad experience that would put me off from going back. This is great pizza, and the servers are usually very friendly. they also have a couple great desserts. I would particularly recommend the tiramisu.

I had an amazing meal at Chutney Mary. The restaurant is beautiful; you can certainly have a posh frock moment if you feel so inclined. The service was discreet but excellent, champagne is an option by the glass and the food was outstanding; it even tasted good the next day when we had our leftovers put in a doggy bag and ate them for breakfast (classy huh!) Launderettes often have interesting names like 'Washeteria Cafeteria'. This one doesn't. But it's a very good place to get your washing done.

You can drop off your washing or chuck it in one of the digital super drums. And check this out! There's change on tap! You go round to the other side of the smart glass dividers to the dry cleaning counter and you can change your notes into washing machine food.

Other features are the attractive blue glass vase arranged in front of a Dali print and a 'What's On' leaflet holder. It's really clean, the water is actually hot and it's great if your washing machine broke down and flooded the four flats below! While you're waiting you can go to the Chelsea Bun or the Mona Lisa or push the boat out and visit the Bluebird.

For some reason I hadn't heard about The Painted Heron, despite being an addict of Indian cooking, but have being turned away from Amaya and Roussillon we arrived at the unfashionable end of Cheyne Walk to a most delightful surprise - quite the best Indian cooking I have had - even in India. Actually, it's rather unfair to compare it as it's 'modern' Indian - so cooked according to the European principle of separating tastes and textures, unlike the tendency of Indian cooking to become an undifferentiated hodge-podge of flavours. Each dish was perfection - fillets of sea bass coated in spices and a vegetetarian tasing dish of splendid subtlety and variety. A couple of quibbles - the asparagus was stringy and the wines by the glass could have been of higher quality (a common complaint), but the food, taken together with the sweet and helpful service and charming decor, puts this newish (2002) restaurant into the first league. Confusingly Pucci's Pizza place has moved several times recently but this is the new location for Pucci's famous pizzas:

442 Kings Road, London SW10 0LQ. It is on the corner of Limerston Street, in case you were wondering. It is further down the Kings Road near World's end.

So, new location but I'm pleased to say that they still have the same famous pizzas and also...ahem...the same standard of pretty waitresses (sorry to sound sexist but it is true and part of the reason they are well known).

You can see plenty of reviews over the years to hail the quality of Pucci's heroic pizzas, so I won't go on about it here. I just found out they had moved and thought I would log it here. Interestingly it is hard to find out the new address on the internet but this is officially the correct new pucci pizza address...I even just checked it by telephone and here it is if you want it: 020 7352 2134 (this is actually the same as before).

The best feature about Vingt Quatre is its' famed opening hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year.

The food is simple and it specialises in simple food - mainly breakfasts. However, Vingt Quatre comes into its own when you are not ready to go to bed and everything else is closed. It is a great bit of London knowledge and comes into use every now and then. It is in the lively part of the Fulham road cheesily known, or once known, as 'The Beach'. Been here on a lot of occassions and recommend it.
- Relaxed but fun and modern atmosphere
- Lively without being off-putting
- Bar is small and gets pretty busy, mainly because...
- There are no reservations, so it is first come first served
- Usually very busy so arrive in plenty of time and when you are not too starving
- Excellent steaks (as the name would suggest) but plenty of other good stuff on the menu.

Hidden behind a couple of parked double decker bus bays, this is a brilliant cafe in the Worlds End area of Kings Road. It gets the sun in the morning which is pleasant if you're in the 1st floor glass roofed bit. I think you can book the upstairs bit.

It's got a greasy joe feel but the menu totally breaks out of that typecast. It's the longest breakfast menu I've ever seen outside of San Francisco! My favourite is scrambled eggs with fresh asparagus and toast. They do vegetarian breakfasts and whopping american breakfasts with waffles, maple syrup, cream and ham.

Had one dodgy experience there: they sell wrapped muffins which they probably buy in. I found a pubic hair sticking out of mine! They offered me a replacement one or something else instead. I chose the something else!
