London Duck Tours - QUACK QUACK by watermelon90

It is a real winner.
The family ticket is £57 and is for 2 adults and 2 children, which is not too bad.
Your tickets are for a one hour and fifteen minute tour, which leaves from an area just behind the London Eye. The big yellow amphibious vehicles take you on a fun route passing famous london landmarks like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament , Trafalgar Square etc. You see such a lot.You get told interesting facts along the way too.
Then the duck takes you on and launches into the River Thames from a slipway at Vauxhall for the part of the tour that is in the water. Such great fun it is. A bizarre but wonderful way to see the sights, thats for sure.

The London Duck Tours company is such a good idea to go out and see parts of london in a new and fun way. They do pack you in though so do not think you will get a pod to your self coz you need to pay more for that.
Later in the day the sky will be wonderful and the softer light makes it easier for you to see without straining your eyes.
It is reasonable enough in terms of price and nice to say that you have been on and seen london from a different view pointThe london eye is set on the side of the thames, in westminster, right by the aquarium.
If you have a spare 30 mins then forget it, even though it only takes about that to go round once it takes much longer to get on in the first place.
The pods are see through and so you do get the best views from them, once you get used to the open feel of it all. It has around 400 species in over 50 displays , the best of which was the big shark tank, which we stood and gazed a for ages. It is right next to the london eye and westminster bridge, so nice and easy to find. The family ticket is around £45 which does seem quite a lot of money and this place is not really an all day activity, but we did enjoy it and later found out we could have saved more money if we had got some discount vouchers. Never mind we will be more aware next time we visit. Trouble is the kids want to adopt a cute little shark next time, who are they kidding. Our recent visit to the london aquarium was quite good. Whether it's a game of bowling, a dance competition, the latest shoot em up or driving game, they have a great selection. The bumper cars are always a favourite.

On the lower level is a pool hall with a small bar, however it serves Kronenberg Blanc, so top marks!

Definately worth a visit when you have a bit of spare time.

The entrance is on the river front, between Westminster Bridge and The London Eye.If you've got a bit of time to spare waiting for a train at Waterloo, head across the Namco at County Hall.

Namco is a large arcade on multiple levels.
