This place is without doubt the best vegan Chinese restaurant in London. Offering a wide range of meat-substitute (soya standing in for chicken, pork, beef and fish) and vegetable based standard and unusual oriental dishes at an extremely affordable price - dinner for two easily comes under Â£30. They also offer a lunchtime buffet for a fixed price and takeaway service to the surrounding area. Service is extremely friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the restaurant itself is only a few minutes walk from Archway station. Nid Ting is an unassuming restaurant with very reasonably prices that serves up the best Thai food I've had this side of Thailand. It's better than a lot of the food I had in Thailand, too. Very traditional, friendly and very, very good. The Hot & Sour Soup is perfect, as are the Red, Green & Jungle curries. The chef's specials are superb - my favourite so far is the Steamed Tailapia which was perfectly cooked and delicately flavoured.

I use these guys a lot and I must say they are great from London to the airport, usually on time and mostly great but from the airport to London they have been late almost every time and last time their driver did not even offer to help my very pregnant wife with her bags. I went to this venue for an audition recently.
It has an open-spaced gym with resonable studio space and as a venue it is fine...

HOWEVER, the manager of 'The Factory' is extremely rude and aggressive.
Whilst at my audition i accidentally left behind a ring which is of high sentimental value to me and so i called to see if they had found it - they had - and the manager had it in his hand whilst speaking to me.

His tone was awfully rude and he did not try to help at all...he instead threatened to "throw it away" and upset me greatly with the way he spoke to me.

All I can say is that the gym is probably quite satisfactory, but not worth the fact that you will also be greeted by a very angry man who will treat you as if you are dirt on the bottom of his shoe.

What sort of manager treats his customers so?
DO NOT GO HERE!! And if you do, be VERY sure not to leave anything behind!

I actually registered on this site solely to say I had the best Indian meal I've ever had prepared for me.

I love the esoteric combination of soothing 30s jazz with contemporary Indian cuisine. That said, I guess the fact I love jazz to be a huge bonus factor. If you hate jazz, then maybe this restaurant's dÃ©cor and atmosphere isn't for you.

However, the food is excellent, so don't let the jazz put you off! I'll be seeing a lot more of this place. The waiter was dead friendly and down-to-earth; the vast array of curries were very good value for money: around Â£6 for a mains.

Also, something I was surprised with was the portion size. It was exactly the right size! I'm not a gorger or a nibbler; I like to think I eat a standard portion at mealtimes, and when the curry came out it looked a little on the small side. However, by the time I was finished I realised it was the exact amount: enough to fill me up and leave me (very) satisfied, but not too much so I would end up overindulging or leaving a lot on my plate.

Next time I'm going to be way more adventurous. We both had lamb curries; my date's was deliciously tender and mine was firm and juicy.
