They have quite a few food specials going on (pizza and burgers 2for1). The burgers (especially the chips) was really good and the portions big. Our waiter was very rushed and cleared our table while one girl was still eating. We all found him very rude with no "table-side" manners. Although he was the only waiter I could see, it wasn't busy at all (maybe 4 other tables, and by the time we were done it was empty again) so I don't understand what the rush was about. The bill was only £22 for 3 of us (we did not have alcohol) so wasn't too disappointed although I wouldn't recommend it for lunch to someone else.We went there for a girlie lunch today as it's near our workplace and have always wanted to go. Think they were either just making the prices up as they went along or pocketing the extra.Went this Friday. This place is smaller than my studio appartment and lacking in any kind of atmosphere. Milk & Honey has this magical quality of removing you completely from noisy Soho and London in general. You feel youâ¬"ve stepped back in time to a different place, solely dedicated to you enjoying some of Londonâ¬"s best cocktails, in cosy company, whether it is with friends or a date (Iâ¬"d really recommend it if youâ¬"re going on a first date and are looking to impress, without risking something swanky or pretentious). Dark lighting, jazz that has the right balance between adding energy to the room and blending in the background and really comfortable booths for a group of up to 6.

Service. Exceptional in a word. The waiters know the menu very well and will happily recommend something if you cannot decide. Just tell them roughly what youâ¬"re after and you want be disappointed. The staff at the door is very friendly, making you feel welcome and comfortable from the start. This is the same on the phone. Milk and Honey is a members club, but anyone can reserve a table by calling before 5pm. They will do their best to help you.

Finally food. I hadnâ¬"t tried it in my previous visits, but I was blown away by its quality last time I went. Remember that weâ¬"re talking about bar snacks here, but the salt-rubbed lamb chops are right up there with the best Iâ¬"ve tried. There were other memorable mentions Iâ¬"m sure, but the quality of those chops was so high that Iâ¬"m struggling to remember the other things (we had started quite early that day). I do remember that everything was really good, with only the portions of chips feeling a bit small and not spectacular.

So there you have it. One of central Londonâ¬"s and Sohoâ¬"s finest hidden gems with amazing cocktails that stays open late (4am if youâ¬"re a member) and a place youâ¬"ll equally enjoy with friends or more romantic encounters. The last part applies if you go on a date. This is not the place to pick someone up and house rules strongly discourage male punters from approaching ladies. The reverse does not apply, so you never know...you may still get lucky. Unlikely though, so just go to enjoy the atmosphere, drink and food.
It's not usual to give five overall stars and five for food, service and ambience, but it's hard not to with Milk & Honey.

Let's begin from the end ⬠Ambience. And mightily impressed we were too.

We booked an hour before arriving and were given a lovely booth table that was comfy and relatively private.

Unknowingly we arrived during Happy Hour which finishes @8pm, offering cracking wine for around the £10 mark. We had the Rioja and very nice it was too.

Both of us had the surf 'n turf, sirloin steak with half a lobster and chips plus a decent size salad. It was cooked beautifully rare and the lobster was also well prepared. Thank goodness we didn't have starters or we would have been overfaced - the portions sizes add to the great value of this place.

We were also impressed that we could be in and out in the hour (we were heading to the cinema) with great food, wine and service.

For those wanting a quiet romantic meal this isn't the place on a Friday, buzzing with after work revellers and loud music. But the restaurant is tucked to one side so there is some separation.

The beauty of this place is also it's location, while creating a private club style atmosphere. We will be going again, soon, and probably in happy hour with friends. Thoroughly impressed.

P.S. Take your ID - the doormen seem to enjoy quizzing you on entry despite being well over the legal drinking age!!

We don't do Valentine's Day so instead decided to treat ourselves on Friday 13th to a meal at the Langley. Sam Smith's prices make it a good option if you'd rather spend more of your money on good food down the street, and the bar staff were pleasant and remembered your order for the second round (quite impressive!) Upstairs was quite cosy, with window seats and a roaring (gas) fire.

It's nicely located just beyond the hectic-ness of Oxford St, and would probably make a good post xmas shopping bolthole. It will never win awards for style or quaint authenticity, but a decent option nonetheless.Just to add to what flashboy and Ben already said:

This pub is not far from the restaurants of Charlotte Street and although busy, was not packed on a Saturday evening. It was passable, though very scruffy and dirty but a reasonable place to have a drink with a few mates. The furniture is awful, it was very dirty - it looks like they took the chairs off a rubbish tip - and cocktails dreadful (did they put any alcohol in them?), so I would give it 2 out of 5. I've been to so many places in Soho, most of them are great, but this is distinctly average. The O Bar I would tend to recommend to tourists who don't know any better - not regular Soho dwellers! We had drinks in this place a couple of months ago over a 2 weeks period as it was easy to meet with friends living there at the time. It's a good spot to catch up and coming acts, like it's sister pub, The Barfly, in Camden.

I've only once popped in for a drink without going to a gig and it was a bit loud for my taste that particular evening. Not just me, but the people I was with too. Maybe we're too old! But, that could have been just that particular night, I wouldn't rule it out for future occasions. The Fly has an upstairs bar and downstairs gig venue, both dark and intimate, it's a great place to see a live band, and is sometimes the location for secret gigs for bigger bands.
