I first came to this restaurant about 27 years ago before I was married. I am still coming now; the only difference is I am married with three grown up children. The food is excellent. Lee and his family always make you welcome
(The children always get free ice cream).
If you are looking for some where to eat in Stratford which is really good and cheap this is the place to go. They also do takeaways.
You won't be disappointed and I am sure you will visit againâ¬¦â¬¦â¬¦..

Recommended by a friend as been great food but pricey we tried India Gate and haven't looked back since!

words can't describe how wonderful the food tastes!
The service is fantastic, whether your first or eleventh visit.
With 2 young children we've never been made to feel any more at ease or welcome to a restaurant as we do here.

Its simply THE best India restaurant we've been to!Recommended by a friend as been great food but pricey we tried India Gate and haven't looked back since!

Rating: 3.00I am not sure what to do about this place to be honest. The food was not too bad. I have had better and I have had worse, but I must admit my stomach felt a little dodgy the next morning. I was not overly impressed with the service. The waiter was not great, and the restaurant itself was fairly quiet, which I guess tells it's own story. On the plus side, the food did not take long to be prepared, and the dessert was quite nice and tasty. The decor in the place was of typical standard and the music that was being played was ok as well. I would give the restaurant five out of ten.
