After enjoying fantastic service and food at The Cafe Rouge at Center Parcs Longleat, we were very disappointed by the poor service and below standard quality of food at the Southgate branch. We were asked if we were ready to order after sitting down for 20 mins even though we had not been given any menus & then waited for over an hour for our food (at 3pm & not at all busy) and when the food eventually came the Beef Bourguignon was tougher & dryer than i have had before and rather bland, the potato dauphinoise was not at all creamy also i am sure cheddar was used. The pasta arrived luke warm when we told the waitress she asked if we wanted a fresh one, 2 minutes later, as we were sitting by the kitchen, i heard a familiar ding and hey presto the pasta emerged from the kitchen hot 'fresh' from the microwave!!!!
The banana dessert arrived bruised and black, we asked the waitress to replace them, this was replaced but with no apology.
The staff were more interested in chatting around the bar rather than attending to the job in hand...

We were waiting to be served during the busy time. We waited and waited. Finally after being served we got drinks and after we got our starters. An hour after we finished our starters we were asked if we wanted a dessert menu. I couldn't believe it. No main meal and an empty stomach. We got our mian course over an hour after the starters and it wasn't worth the wait. I can recommend better service at other turkish restaurants. it had been a good few years since I had been in the waggon,and it will only be a few days, before I return again ,what a friendly well laid out clen pub. their was a down stairs nook with the lions rugby match on that created a terrific atmosphere,my other half was hungry and this pub has a seperate thai restaurant area ,serving food of the highest order ,with a well balanced wine list,this is not your usual pub food !.we then had a nicly chilled beer outside in the garden which is a decking area , sean the manager introduced himself and took time to tell us of the plan he and his company have to improve even futher,on this loverly pub ,I do not live in southgate bu I will be back .good luck to sean and his terrific team

This shop is amazing. Whenever i have a night out or special occasion i always come here and i always find something really lovely.
They sell lots of party/evening dresses here. I bought a stunning corset dress here and every1 always asks me where i get my clothes from.
This shop is so great as you can buy everything in 1 place. I got a dress, shoes, bag, bra and accesories.

Rating: 5.00Bill Clinton has eaten there. Trevor Nelson likes the chips and pitta. Kamal from Big Brother 5 biffed a bloke in a skip outside it. Even that the bloke from Brushstrokes once went in there for a small chicken shish (chips seperate).

Many a duly-proved-to-be-found-guilty-but-not-quite-at-that-point-criminal has fallen down the stairs at the police station in order to elicit the required confession so the many selfless police people of North London can make their way, lights blazing, sirens wailing, to the promised land of Southgate Kebabs for a cheeky doner and chips. Eating is a serious business and the business of Southgate Kebabs is serious fvcking kebabs.

Legend has it you can buy guns and passports there too, but i only say that cos i asked for these things once when i was drunk. In the end i walked out with a lamb kofte (chips seperate)

Southgate Kebabs is by far the best kebab shop in London, if not the world, and if anyone disagrees they're plainly mental, or a vegetarian, which is actually worse than being mental.

Known the world over, this kebab shop par excellence provides the full range of kebab delights, at reasonable prices. My personal favourite is the lamb kofte (with chips seperate of course)

At Christmas they wear Santa Claus hats with a kink at the top and the bauble at the tip lights up.

Everyone by now has visited a mc donalds and knows what to expect. However the biggest varaition through the chain is the effective ness of the staff. I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and during different times of the days/ weeks and every time the staff greet me with a friendly smile and get my order right( which can be like hoping for a miracle in othere mc donalds!)
The facilities are always clean and tidy and the tables are never sticky( a pet hate of mine!)there seems to be enough staff to ensure that tables are cleaned as people are leaving then so the next customer can have a clean table. A great place, if you enjoy standing at the bar. Not to enjoy any 'Ye Olde' ambience, ratherâ¬¦ just to stand at the barâ¬¦ waiting to be served.

Mediocre, apparently 'bought in', luke warm, processed food plus poor table service. On one occasion we had to ask for one diners meal three times, even then, when it finally arrived, it was wrong.

This is a great place for a relaxed lunch, or a buzzing dinner. The food is excellent value for money, and the style of the venue is quite different from any other Greek restaurants in the area. The menu is diverse with touches of individuality. I recommend this highly.
