The staff are usually helpful but hey, its chocolate , so it would not stop me going in to buy a gift for some one. Every one is impressed by a huge box of thorntons. You can buy some boxed items and have the name of the person you want written on in white chocolate icing. You can also get gift boxes wrapped, I think it still costs £2.50 for a large wrapped gist and very small ones under £5 are only 50p, makes them look great. They sell toffee too but I am a chocolate lover so they do not get a look in.Got to give this place 5 stars after all the whole shop is full of scrummy things. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found the same type of doughnuts (white icing with multi-coloured sprinkles)still being made today! Of course, there's no reason for them to have stopped making it, but it made me happy all the same.

The sandwiches are very good quality food - great for lunch - and have various different fillings (my favourite being the good old BLT)

I would definitely recommend Greggs for anyone, even if they're not hungry! The smell of it all, freshly baked, will make you hungry anyway.
