All the dishes we've tried so far are of a high quality - the chicken is delightfully tender and fresh, onion b's are lovely too, as is the Nan. However we thought the main dishes we ordered have all been a bit similar in taste. The staff are really nice, but they should be for the prices they charge!
Its well worth a try...

Got to give this place 5 stars after all the whole shop is full of scrummy things. The staff are usually helpful but hey, its chocolate , so it would not stop me going in to buy a gift for some one. Every one is impressed by a huge box of thorntons. You can buy some boxed items and have the name of the person you want written on in white chocolate icing. You can also get gift boxes wrapped, I think it still costs Â£2.50 for a large wrapped gist and very small ones under Â£5 are only 50p, makes them look great. I've got a friend in Wimbledon, so I pop in to Greggs sometimes, and I've got to admit, it's one of my favourite places for a quick bite or a sweet treat.

Greggs is full of lovely sandwiches, baguettes, bagels, pasties, doughnuts, etc. Basically anything made with some type of bread, generally baked.

When I was a child, my mother used to buy me a iced doughnut covered with sprinkles. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found the same type of doughnuts (white icing with multi-coloured sprinkles)still being made today! Of course, there's no reason for them to have stopped making it, but it made me happy all the same.

The sandwiches are very good quality food - great for lunch - and have various different fillings (my favourite being the good old BLT)

I would definitely recommend Greggs for anyone, even if they're not hungry! The smell of it all, freshly baked, will make you hungry anyway. KFC is a well known takeaway brand which is respected for being nice tasting by some people. However after seeing several websites about the cruel conditions the chickens are kept in before being killed I was put off going there. A few weeks ago I was on a night out and this was one of the few places open that didnâ¬"t have queues out the door so I decided to go in and have a look. I now know why there werenâ¬"t any queues.

The service we received was appalling, we had to wait for 10 minutes before anybody came to take our order despite the fact that there were a total of about 7 people in there all queuing there were no staff to be seen. When they did turn up they were rather rude and not at all helpful when we asked if certain foods contained allergens as one of my friends was allergic to some ingredients. When we had finally ordered the food came and the burger had a hair in the box with it. As well as that the chips were stone cold, I will NEVER be eating there again.

This is a lovely, friendly, family orientated pub and whenever we have a group of friends or family together, and want to eat out, this is where we go. They have an offer on, all day, every day, which is buy two meals for the price of one. If you have quite a crowd going this is quite a saving. It's only on the main course though but it still cuts a big chunk off the bill. The food is always delicious and the puddings are also varied and nice. The whole pub has a relaxed atmosphere. You don't feel you have to have a drink because you are in there and we often just go in for a meal and a coffee. The name "Kiss Me Hardy" is a reference to Lord Nelson who lived in the area and there are lots of interesting naval artifacts and pictures dotted around the pub. There is also a children's play area upstairs but I have never used it with my daughter as I don't feel I can leave her up there alone as people can walk straight up there without entering the actual pub as the stairs come off the main entrance, before the bar entrance.

Once upon a time Bar Sia was a Turkish Baths. Downstairs theyâ¬"ve even converted the baths into a romantic little multi levelled seating affair. Despite all the tiles and lack of windows it is actually very comfortable. Upstairs on ground level the bar is a lot more of what you would expect. A clean, modern place filled with comfy leather seats and well veneered tables. The drinks are over-priced but thatâ¬"s what comes a place with such lofty thoughts of itself. The patrons tend to the be young, wannabe trendies â¬not actually trendies because such reckless slaves to fashion couldnâ¬"t afford to drink in here. Itâ¬"s an alright place, this. This place is a mainstay of late night Wimbledon. Up the road there is Po Na Na, which is equally naff but thinks oh so much more of itself. The Watershed is local club with no pretentions. Itâ¬"s dark and a little dingy but great place to go after youâ¬"ve been drinking and want to up the tempo. The music is poppy, hip hoppy, dancy stuff â¬nothing special. Something The Watershed plays host to a really good comedy club called Laughing Horse. You can see comedy and stay on for the club which is really very good value indeed. Iâ¬"ve been going to Thomas Marshall-Manifold for over 10 years. I am 47 and have found relief for various injuries, including tennis elbow and whiplash injury caused by a car accident.
He has also treated me for allergies, headaches, bladder infections and premenstrual symptoms. I go to the clinic once every 6 months or when I feel I need to for â¬Übalancing treatmentsâ¬". This has helped to keep me very healthy for the last few years.
Also, some time ago my 5 years old son experienced continual ear and sinus infections, resulting in him consuming repeatedly antibiotics. They didnâ¬"t seem to be helping, so I took him to doctor Marshall-Manifold and after six months of treatment he has had, to date, no problems. His immune system is very strong and at 16 years of age, he is a very healthy young man.
I cannot recommend Thomas Marshall-Manifold more highly.

For years Sia food and wine has been used by young children aged around 13-17 years for purchasing alcohol and cigarettes.
Known by them as 'Haydons' they make their way there to buy alcohol and go drinking in near-by parks.
The staff there (2 asian men) know that the children are underage as when they purchase alcohol they tell them to, and qoute, 'Put it deep in your bag', or if there are other customers in the shop they wait until they have left to serve the kids.
This has gone un noticed since I was in my early teens, now nearly 18 it's still going on and more and more kids hear of it and go there to get drink.
This place should have it's licence removed as it is using it in the wrong way.
They are helping add to the rise in young people drinking from an early age.

I have not yet been in ANY cafe Nero where there has been an English staff member.
I think it's quite nice that they keep authentic.
The coffee at cafe Nero gives a real taste of Italy and the food that is offered with it makes the experience even more fantastic.
Their prices are fair for the quality and service that you receive.
You can also pick up a loyalty card that you get stamped after every purchase, once you have a full card you will receive a free large coffee of your choice.I have not yet been in ANY cafe Nero where there has been an English staff member.

The Wimbledon Odeon is a great place to go with the family or friends to see the latest film, it offers great seating services and multi screens so you always have choice of what to see.
The only downside of the Odeon is the prices.
An adult ticket has now been bumped up to Â£8
A child at Â£5 and student at Â£6.70.

McChina used to be a tiny little takeaway service based on the Haydons road, it offered a delicious range of excellent Chinese food at a very good price.
In the decade or so that has passed, McChina has evolved and expanded into a magnificent, elegant restaurant that not only offers it's same great takeaway service and value for money, but also a beautiful place to dine and experience the taste of China right here in Wimbledon, now know as McChina Eating.

Firstly, you have to remember this is a takeaway kebab shop, not a 5star restaurant, but saying that, the food has always been very tasty in a fatty fast food kind of way.
The staff are always very friendly, and they deliver very quickly to local addresses, and the prices are very good for the portion sizes served! For instance 10 chicken nuggets and chips for Â£3.50 or a half pounder cheeseburger and chips for Â£4.50.

This little cafe, with bench seating, is a South Wimbledon favourite of ours. Its menu is a mixture of Chinese and Japanese rice and noodle dishes served in generous portions by young and pleasant staff. Prices are very reasonable (eg £5 or £6 for a groaning plateful of chicken and vegetables with black bean sauce) and it's a great place for hungry youngsters on a limited budget. Only problem is that service is so speedy and the turnover so fast that your visit is more likely to last forty minutes than a whole evening! We find this a welcome change from other Wimbledon restaurants and a pleasant place for some tasty Lebanese food. It's small and unpretentious with friendly staff who remember you. Our favourite food there is a selection of starters and small dishes which we prefer to the main (slightly plain) meat dishes. They often play Lebanese music on CD which helps to blot out the rather bleak urban view from the window. It's your standard Po Na Na really, dark and cushiony, but a bit smaller.
Good bar, with good drinks and cocktails (though I've not been in a while).
The music can be housy, but they have been known to play a bit of R&B for the kids.

My favourite thing is the wall to wall plastic lining, which is presumably there to allow for easy hosing down once the night zoo has left. Joy.
The above isn't a negative by the way, if that's your kind of thing. Don't wear your friday best, and bring a bib.
