Of all the bakers there are, for a chain based one i'd say Greggs is my favourite. I first experienced the delightful tastes when i was in kent, so i was really excited when i found this one! The staff are really nice, friendly and eager to serve. Polite too which is a bit of a rarity now a days! The sandwiches here are fabulous, some are prepackaged ready for the lunchtime rush and some, like baguettes are inthe counter with fresh fillings. They are all bursting at the seams with the amount of filling though! Their cakes and other savoury goodies are also delicious and so fresh!Of all the bakers there are, for a chain based one i'd say Greggs is my favourite. Between the two major fast food burger restaurants, mcdonald or burger king, i find it easy to choose between the two. For me its mcdonalds every time. Why? My main gripe with Burger King is that although the burgers are sold as being flame grilled, and yes they are, they were flame grilled quite a while ago, then prepackaged and ready to be microwaved when necessary. With mcdonalds, they cook the burgers and then serve them. No microwaves! The cheese in the burger king burgers stick to your teeth and is highly processed. I think that one of the most refreshing drinks you can have is a smoothie and they are much healthier than fizzy drinks as they are made from fruit. Thatâ¬"s why I try to drink them as often as possible. I came across Smooth Juice the other day and decided that I just had to try one of their smoothies. These are freshly made so you know that what youâ¬"re drinking is good. I have bought several smoothies from here over the past couple of months and have always found that they taste amazing. Also you can chose what it is you want to go into your smoothie so youâ¬"re definitely going to like it. Fruit Juice contains a lot of antioxidants so it will help you to feel better physically as well as mentally. This supermarket is a fantastic addition to the area, in the newly refurbished Brunswick Centre. Great for local residents, people who work in the area and visitors alike.

Waitrose is known for its quality food, and this store is no exception, with a range of items not available elsewhere locally including a nice selection of real ales and cheeses to choose from.

Staff have always been very friendly when I have visited and seem to be genuinely quite happy to be at work (unusual these days to receive good customer service from positive members of staff, isn't it?!).

Went to peyton and bryne for breakfast. i had a very unhealthy breakfast consisting of a hot chocolate and a pink cup cake. The hot chocolate here is amazing i would def recommend you to try it!! also they have the best selection of cup cakes they are so cute and totally irresistible. my boyfriend had the salmon cheese pastry which was served hot with a salad for a bargain 3 pounds. Service was great they had samples at the counter to help you make your choice over all the fab cakes they offer. This local Sainsbury's is at the lower end of Camden High Street, it near to Mornington Crescent tube station.

For anyone that needs to dip in to a supermarket or lives this end of the High Street, then this is handy to pick up the odd pint of milk or loaf of bread.

Unfortunately, as it is a local and a pretty small one, it can only sell so much and so the range is limited. If you want a bigger shop and more variety, just walking up Camden High Street and turning onto Camden Road gets you to the main Sainsbury's supermarket which has a car park and is so much bigger and so stocks a lot more variety of things.This local Sainsbury's is at the lower end of Camden High Street, it near to Mornington Crescent tube station.

I give this one 5 stars purely from affection. The food - a mix of Italian sandwiches and pastas - is good but nothing special (although a LOT better than an M&S dullwich).

I love it because the coffee is tasty, the latte's foamy, and you always get a strong little macaroon with it. The tables are far enough apart for a legitimate meeting to be held there - much more relaxed than a meeting room in the office building!

And I have a soft spot for the tacky plastic tablecloths with red checks, and black vinyl chairs with chrome hooped backs - it's like a dream of an Italian coffee shop seen through a London lense.I give this one 5 stars purely from affection. Pretentious and awful gym. I joined on an offer in the london paper. The sales staff were pushy and superficial, using what seemed like tempting limited offers such as waiving their extortionate joining fee of Â£175 if you sign the contract then and there. I was not happy with all the small print on the contract but was cajoled into joining for the least commitment membership of pay as you go but i later found in the terms and conditions that you still had hidden fees to pay with this. The atmosphere at the gym was disappointing and the staff were very aloof and generally unhelpful. There were always 3 or 4 of each type of machine which were out of order despite the fact that i never see many people using the gym. I read the terms and conditions of my contract and cancelled within the correct time limit (annoyingly even though they sell it as a pay as you go option you need to give a full month's notice and a further maintenance fee if you want to skip a month i.e. you end up paying for NOT going to the gym). Even giving my notice orally and in writing with the un-friendly reception staff and cancelling my direct debit well in advance, another month's payment was still taken from my account. The manager was un-believably rude when I called up about it and it took some talking just to be refunded for the extra month's fee they unlawfully took from me. All in all, it's just one big gimmick so that people can feel like they're getting a new experience but the classes are pretty contrived and either over-crowded or the instructor won't teach if there are 5 or less people. This is an usual review, as I only bought a single banana from this shop. However, I felt compelled to write a review because it was the best service I have had in a shop ever and I guess that is what TrustedPlaces is all about.

The shop itself is a wonderful throwback to a bygone era, a bit like stepping into 1970's film set. Charmingly old fashioned and the lady (proprietor I suspect but I wasn't sociable enough to ask) behind the till was unfeasibly friendly.

My banana was absurdly good value, served with a captivating smile and a painstakingly found napkin. What more could I ask for?

Sadly this shop is not a local for me but if you are local it then I suggest you try it out and hopefully find it the same as I did. I'll confess i am an avid gym goer. So when i am on the move (literally) and out of my main city of York i make sure that i have access to various gym facilities.

Cannons, despite its rather small size from the outside, does indeed have it all: Pool, sauna (his n her's), fitness 'suit', spin classes, squash courts, cool down area, bar and even a very compact cafe.

The staff are super friendly and on the day that i went were nice enough to give me a good 20 minute tour. There's an in house Elemis beauty spa for massages etc.

so this all sounds well and good. Except there is one formidable draw back. Mostly underground the gym floor feels like you are working out in a darkened claustrophobic strobe lit environment. And whilst the equipment is well maintained and facilities clean I can't give more than 2 stars to a fitness centre that deprives me of Vitamin D fuelled daylight and rewards your work out with a sun deprived induced headache.

One of the pool and sauna only. For the rest you would be better off using their lockers and taking a run round the blockk and nearby parks!

This is one of the gems of this end of Cally Road - the most amazing cheeses, incredible tinned tuna (Delicioso brand... nothing else will do once you've tried it), pastas and sauces. Well worth a regular visit to stock up on gourmet pantry essentials.

The elderly couple who run it have managed to preserve a sense of community with their customers, so be ready to wait a few minutes while family news is shared, and practice your Italian phrases when you can.

LA Fitness is fairly reliable across it's clubs but the ones on commuter routes are almost as bad as London Underground during the rush hour. In fact most of them are underground but the saving grace of this club is the ground floor location with windows and daylight!

Apart from that I was pretty disappointed. It's very cramped and manic in there with a damp sweaty atmosphere. Stretching mats are laid back-to-back, almost overlapping, the swimming pool is tiny and the showers are appalling. They dribble and you have to keep pushing a button to keep the water 'running'. The temperature goes hot and cold. yuch.

I'll finish with a couple of good points though: the spinning class has a separate room, the mats were new and the weights equipment worked well enough. Good selection of different aerobics machines such as sitting down cycling, running, normal cycling, cycling with your arms, stairs and more.
