This is one of my favourite venues in London. It's huge with three(ish) glamourous floors of guilding and plush red curtains and seating. It's great!

I love it best for live bands. The sound is mediocre but the atmosphere is fab. The HUGE disco ball is lots fun and adds a whole lotta sparkle!

I went to this venue about to see The Fratellis playing live. The gig had been moved from UCL to here and at a different date. Although the tickets were only £5, hardly anyone showed up for the gig - there were around 200 people there.
I found the whole Scala experience really nice, it was easy to get to from Kings Cross station, the bar staff were very friendly, the band was great and due to the quietness of the evening the gig was rally personal.
The building has 3 levels, the ground floor is a large sloped dancefloor, the first floor is another large balcony floor with a bar and some seating, I can't remember what the 2nd floor was!
