Me and some friends went to this club 2 weeks ago and 2 lads were spiked and do not remember being there and then found that nearly Â£10K (TEN THOUSAND POUNDS) had been stolen from their bank account for fake Champage and entertainment they have not even received. Avoid this place at all costs, on informing the Police we found that the club is under investigation, so hopefully will be closed soon and the thieves locked up for stealing money. I've been to a good few shows at the Koko and have always had a great time. They did a great job in the renovations a few years ago and it looks beautiful in there now. I've always been able to actually see the band I've gone there for, from one or two different levels normally! I recently saw the Living End there, who I haven't seen in over ten years and they were brilliant!I've been to a good few shows at the Koko and have always had a great time. I went to this venue about to see The Fratellis playing live. The gig had been moved from UCL to here and at a different date. Although the tickets were only Â£5, hardly anyone showed up for the gig - there were around 200 people there.
I found the whole Scala experience really nice, it was easy to get to from Kings Cross station, the bar staff were very friendly, the band was great and due to the quietness of the evening the gig was rally personal.
The building has 3 levels, the ground floor is a large sloped dancefloor, the first floor is another large balcony floor with a bar and some seating, I can't remember what the 2nd floor was!
