Found out about this place from Andy Haylerâ¬"s site. His write up prompted me with eagerness and excitement, good food and booze at affordable prices.

Wow, a pub, great I can dine alone without an audacious stare. The pub proper was lovely, comforting and welcoming. At least when I was there the absence of any big screens showing sports and eighties pop music blaring from tinny sounding speakers were an absolute relief. I ordered a pint of delicious real ale (sorry forgotten the name) and requested whether I could order some lunch as well. They only serve bar snacks in the pub, however if I wish for the works Iâ¬"d need to go the dining room instead.

The ambience in the dining room was absolutely gratifying, natural daylight from the skylights, and tables that were already occupied by a decent looking mix of diners. I felt somewhat intimidated, what with dining alone in this room especially with that damn camera on tow. I suggested to the lovely waitress that, look I really really want to sample the food in the pub area instead, my request was politely turned down. You stay here mate, camera-trotting lonely heart or not, it doesnâ¬"t make a slightest bit of difference.

I was glad that I finally settled down comfortably in the dining room. I went straight for the mains of Roasted Belly of Gloucester Old Spot with roast potatoes, carrots and applesauce. The crackling that came with the course was enough to make me weep. This course was pure straight As, the melting and giving texture of the pork complimented the well cooked veg. Now I donâ¬"tâ¬" normally go for desserts, but the Sticky Toffee Pudding with vanilla ice cream was memorable, itâ¬"s been sometime since I tasted the real flavour of toffee.

Â£15.50 for the two brilliant courses, free bread and tap water served in their own signature bottles, plus no cover and service charge. The Princess Victoria deserves an accolade for enhancing the Bush.

This pub's a bit on the expensive side but nice enough - on the inside. Unfortunately a VERY nasty experience with the doormen when I'd left but my girlfriend was still inside looking for me. On refusing to let me in, they grab me and ripped my Â£120 coat to shreds. The management didnt want to know and obviously do not care even with a formal complaint - not a place I'll ever be visiting again.

This place right now is the best place in Shepherds Bush where you can go and have a good pint of real ale with about 5 guest ales available at all times plus the good old regular like abbot, directors, pedigree and courage best! The staff is friendly, and the food is not bad at all with brilliant steaks! Go on Tuesday from 3 till 10 and get any steak and a pint for only Â£6.09! I must admit, I've only ever used Vesbar of an evening for pre concert drinks, as I did this Friday because it's a stones throw from the Shepherds Bush empire and it beats either of the tacky Walkabouts or O'Neils pub that is across the road. It is by far one of the nicer options in the area.

This bars claim to fame is that it specialises in the Cuban, rum based drink mojitos, with a few alternative versions of the cocktail using the likes of mango, red bull or their own Vesbar recipe!
They also have a good selection of wine, beers and bar food menu, all at a reasonable price.
You can sit at tables or on sofas, in this mid sized venue. Staff are laid back and helpful.

The vibe is chilled, young and trendy. There is live music at the weekends and DJ's on most nights. The North Pole is back!!!
Newly refurbished as an independent it remains the place to be in North Kensington.
Great food offer with daily specials, imported bottle beers and fantastic wine range.
With in minutes of BBC and local music studios it has an eclectic mix of creative and local residents.
The quiz is back on monday nights with more events to come......
What you see now is only the tip of the iceberg of things to come!!!

I haven't been back since the no-smoking law came in, but the only thing I used to not like about this place was the smoke...

A great French restaurant with a fabulous selection of wine. The food has been slightly iffy on a couple of occasions but it's always good for a stonking plate of cheese. Now I might be a bit biased here, as this place has been like a footballing spiritual home for me for many a year now, but this place is a quality London boozer. With simple dÃ©cor and a good selection of beers, lagers and wine this is a great pub for a pre/post Loftus Rd drink or even to meet up with friends in the Shepherds Bush area. With simple but well cooked food on offer it is also a good place to grab some pub grub, in particular I would recommend the Bushranger or Steak breakfast, whether you are preparing for a big night out or still recovering from one, it certainly hits the target

This isnâ¬"t the best pub youâ¬"ll ever go to, but for me itâ¬"s certainly up there!

WARNING - It can get busy when QPR are playing home, but for me this is my favourite time to come!
