I ate here for lunch today - it's just round the corner from my florist shop.

The food was delicious. A tried the steak sandwich with chips which was hearty, filling and perfectly cooked.

The pub is really nice but it was a little on the quiet side. It only opened recently so it's probably still got to catch on with the locals.

I reckon it will become a real corner-stone pub in a few months once the locals discover it.

Having read all of the glowing reviews we made a special visit with some friends (we are the informal Fulham Dining Club) last Saturday evening.

Having failed to make a booking either by telephone (engaged/or voice mail full) or on-line (faulty website) a personal visit was necessary just to make a reservation.

Our unanimous general impression from of our dinner here last Saturday evening was that although the service was friendly it was distinctly amateur. We ordered only one starter and it was an hour before our main course arrived without any explanation or apology for the delay.

The menu was a distinct disappointment as we had been looking forward to a varied selection of game specialities for which we understood they are renown. Furthermore we were not informed of any special dishes which we only discovered after our meal listed on a blackboard near the toilets.

The food was generally unexceptional compared with the fare at The White Horse nearby and other selective restaurants in the vicinity. We did enquire if the head chef was actually in situ and were told that he was indeed in the kitchen.

The draught ale was well kept but the house red which we ordered (at Â£15.50 bottle) was below the standard that we would have expected in this sort of establishment.

Chateau 6 is Fulham late-night premier venue. It brings together Drinking, dancing and Partying with amazing DJs spinning chart toppers and classic tunes from 9pm until 2am thursday through to Sunday. The cocktail list is extentive and the wine list stunning, both surprisingly very affordable. Free entry before 10pm and Â£5 on guestlist after, its a quality night out without the pretense and without burning a hole in your pocket!Chateau 6 is Fulham late-night premier venue. I was served a glass of beer with at least an inch of head, which isn't my problem. After a sip I noticed that the glass was dirty and had lipstick all around the rim. I went up to the bar to the MANAGER and told him of my discovery. He replied "How do I know it's not yours (lipstick)" (I am male) then he said - "what do you want me to do about it". Thinking he just had a personality by pass, I decided to let these comments go and replied "serve me a new one?". He replied that I had drunk a third of it already when in fact it was a third of it was head! When he placed the new beer down in front of me and started to walk away he said in a sarcastic tone "that's ok", like I should of thanked him and that it was my fault they were serving drinks in dirty glasses!!??? This incensed me to which i replied that surely he should apologising to me. I was told that he shouldn't be spoken to like that and I was to drink up and go! I later went to him and asked to speak to the manager and that's when he told me it was him. When I pointed out his customer service/ interpersonal skills stank he told me to grow a personality and leave his establishment.

I have never, in my entire life met such an obnoxious man or been so angered by anyone serving in a bar. I have worked in the trade West End bars and others for years and i was under the impression that the paying customer is always right - not in the Temperance it seems! Amuse Bouche is a fantastic bar that specialises in champagne and anything that compliments champagne. I'm not really a fan of this place.

I'd agree with Bundahsi's review from the few of times I've been in there. It's not bad as a meeting/starting point EARLY in the evening, I guess.
You can't even blame the local Chelsea football fans for spoiling this place as its always like it. It's overly dark, the staff are not very helpful and struggle to crack a smile unless they are hitting on you.

Client wise: You get sleazy, overly wealthy city boys being too loud and heavy handed or gold digging girls trying to bag themselevs a hedge-fund lad or girls with daddies credit card after a hard days of shopping "rah rah rah-ing" in your ear, oblivious to how loud they are.

I don't see why or how this place continues to be so busy generally, the drinks are over priced, it gets too busy and the vibe is non-existent.

Classic gastro-pub but with a little extra TLC. On a couple of occassions my ozzie relatives befriended the owner, who was friendly and welcoming.

A nice low key feel, with an odd assortment of old wooden tables that adds to the homely atmosphere. There is little drinking room in The Butchers Hook, so almost everyone is there to eat. The little drinking space that remains is quite civilised.

Some of their specialities include pot roasted game, creamy risottos and an assortment of deserts including rather a good apple crumble that is served on a mini baking pan...an extra scoop of rum and raisin ice cream doesn't go amiss...All in all, food I would return for.

Firstly, if you are not a Chelsea or football fan, avoid this place like the plague on match days! If you are a fan it's very handy as they show a lot of the games on the big screens and it gets heaving with the loyal Blue's fans.

Otherwise, it's nice bar with a good mixed crowd, though I really can't stand the retro decor they have used in this bar and its sister venues such as Living...
It's quite small but not so small you feel trapped.

On sunny days its lovely to be outside and watch all the beautiful people wander by and show off the 150k cars.

Something of an oasis in the class desert that is North End Road, The Arbiter follows on from its predecessor, Meum Cor, with the main difference that this place stands a chance of being there in 6 months' time.

Friendly staff, a mouthwatering, serious cocktail list and what looks to me like a decent menu (haven't eaten there yet) all come together to make for a distinctly pleasant experience.
