I went to sugarhut in early 2008. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic. The music was a live DJ who was a bit pretentios (reminded us of Howard Moon out of the Mighty Boosh!!) and the drinks, whilst expensive, were well mixed.
The food was OK - not the best, not the worst. It presented good value for money at Â£30-35 head for an extensive set menu. I did appreciate the way that they adjusted the set menu for a member of our party with dietry needs; they replaced some meat dishes with fish/seafood, so we got extra value in a way.
Later, there was standard dance music. The venue is a bit too small for this, in my opinion, as dancing/drinking/eating were all crammed together and I saw a couple of spillages of drinks. Took several work mates here for dinner. I felt at times abit like Indianna Jones in some jungle as the whole place was covered in plants/vines. The lighting was dim and not too bright but it added to the decor.
Place was well laid out, Food was very good, waiters were very helpfull. Food was served quickly. Would most probably go again with mates and the other half.

The waiters are helpful, the manager did exactly the right protocol for a manager... kept a discreet distance, just making sure everything ticked along correctly and keeping the ambience and pleasure just right.
To go into fine details regarding the food would not do this place justice. It was awesome and we shall definitely go again. Not a cheap night but not overtly expensive for Chelsea

Good service, great squid, perfect tortilla and two large beers for Â£9pp. Fantastic, given the location. Local Hero Deli has huge potential; charming atmosphere that elevates it from the dreary-ness of the chains and an ace up its sleeve of a pretty little sun-trap of a garden at the back with un-cramped seating.

On a further cheery note the coffee was delicious.

On the downside: the very appealing quiches were let down by the rubberising effect of being heated in a microwave (I assume), the slight nonchalance of the staff (who, for example, let it be known that splitting 2 quiches between two plates for the sake of variety was something they would rather we did) and the rather lame/ unloved salad that came with it. Very difficult to find just past a new development of this harbour, Jury's Inn is a good, bargain hotel that, though part of a cheap hotel chain like travelodge, holiday inn etc, feels a bit more up-market. Very comfortable rooms with good sized bathrooms, big windows with panoramic views of london and a whole floor designed by laura ashley make this hotel a good place to spend the night in london on a budget. The night I went this new hotel had no hot water, instead of putting me off this brought out the friendly and helpful nature of the staff who even offered to transfer us to the heathrow branch of the hotel if we couldnt do without hot water. Moreover they were patient with us as we ordered 3 different takeaways from the surrounding area to our room. I ummed and erred about whether this was a 3 or 4 star experience.

Certainly Napule is a charming Italian Pizza place. It is small and cosy with fun decor that makes you feel like you are on the back streets of Italy - complete with fake window ledges scattered along the walls.

They have a novel way of serving pizzas if you order more than one per table. Instead of getting a single round pizza your orders are merged together in an uber-pizza in a rectangle shape. Suddlenly 2 or 3 pizzas look huge as they come on a giant wooden platter that sits in the middle of the table. And 4 pizzas well it starts to look like a monster!

No question that this is a tasty and fun place with a relaxing and non chain atmosphere (a little deceiving as their card tells me they have 6 places in London as part of the Made in Italy Group).

I would have given it 4 if the staff were just a little friendlier...however, I suppose it is being an authentic Italian ;-)

I'm not really a fan of this place.

I'd agree with Bundahsi's review from the few of times I've been in there. It's not bad as a meeting/starting point EARLY in the evening, I guess.
You can't even blame the local Chelsea football fans for spoiling this place as its always like it. It's overly dark, the staff are not very helpful and struggle to crack a smile unless they are hitting on you.

Client wise: You get sleazy, overly wealthy city boys being too loud and heavy handed or gold digging girls trying to bag themselevs a hedge-fund lad or girls with daddies credit card after a hard days of shopping "rah rah rah-ing" in your ear, oblivious to how loud they are.

I don't see why or how this place continues to be so busy generally, the drinks are over priced, it gets too busy and the vibe is non-existent.

A pleasant little Italian place that has tasty food. Good value and family atmosphere on the New Kings road makes L'Antico a popular place.

Ok, I confess that I have not personally been here in 10 years but I grew up on kebabs from The Kebab Kid and a friend who moved into the area for work assures me they are still going strong.

You need to really try one to see why this is better than the usual muck you get in a kebab. When did you have a kebab with real sliced meat, salad, lemon juice and taramasalata? If you live in the area, everyone knows about the legendary status of The Kebab Kid.

Most of the clientele are not buying their kebab to stumble down the street chomping it late on a Friday night but usually to take them home. I confess to still being a Pizza Express fan. I know, I know - I'm also sympathetic to the rumours that the pizzas are smaller and I know that they arn't as good as the pizzas you have eaten in Italy. However, in my book a pizza express pizza is pretty darn tasty and I admit to eating them every now and then.

I have been going to this one since it opened (cripes when was that - must be decades ago) and as Pizza Expresses go this is a nice and spacious layout (the one in Victoria is cramped and the one in Fulham Broadway's shopping centre feels totally soulless). Classic gastro-pub but with a little extra TLC. On a couple of occassions my ozzie relatives befriended the owner, who was friendly and welcoming.

A nice low key feel, with an odd assortment of old wooden tables that adds to the homely atmosphere. There is little drinking room in The Butchers Hook, so almost everyone is there to eat. The little drinking space that remains is quite civilised.

Some of their specialities include pot roasted game, creamy risottos and an assortment of deserts including rather a good apple crumble that is served on a mini baking pan...an extra scoop of rum and raisin ice cream doesn't go amiss...All in all, food I would return for.

This is a great restaurant for dim sum at lunch. There's normally a wait for tables at the weekends so it's good to get there before one. The dim sum is very authentic.
