If you want to see how tall Tony Blair really is or come face to face with the pope, then it is a must see.
It is only a short walk from the baker street tube station and buses do stop near by.
You can take a mini black cab ride through london, passing through various events starting with the tudor period on the way. Do not forget the chamber of horrors, always a crowd pleaser.
It is open from 9am till 6pm most days so that gives you more than enough time to see it all. On the rides children must have an adult with them if they are under the age of 16. Plenty of half price or buy one get one free vouchers about for this. The usual celebs and kings and queens of past and present are all on show at madame tussauds for all to see. The children really enjoyed the day despite being caught in the rain! Well it was the summer holidays! Our favourites were the penguins, the giraffes and the monkeys.

Inside the food and drinks were expensive so worth bringing some of your own refreshments in although we found it difficult to find somewhere to sit down to eat.My first comment is buy your ticket in advance! Luckily we had as it was a 20 minute (at least) wait to reach the entrance.
London Planetarium - Amazing. by Super_Mum

Review by Super_Mum

Rating: 5.00
Phone: 0870 400 3000

Website: http://www.madame-tussauds.com
This place is apparently over 40 years old and it is still amazing. We went here last year and the best idea is to buy a joint admission ticket for both Madame Tussauds and the Planetarium since they are both popular attractions next door to each other and it will often work out cheaper. The main part of it is the very large dome which apparently is the only Planetarium in Europe that has a Digistar 2 which is the world's most advanced star projector. You sit below the dome and then an image of the night sky is projected onto it with a commentary playing to detail where you are looking and what you are looking at. The night sky takes on a whole new meaning to me now after having been taught what to see and where to look. This place is apparently over 40 years old and it is still amazing.
