This place is the NASTIEST place I know in Ealing.

I have had my food rudely slammed down in front of me if I ask to increase my order with another item, the water jug has been literally PLONKED in front of me.

I do not recommend this place in the least, certainly not to anyone in a good mood, who wishes to remain that way. I have no idea why they are so rude to customers.

We ate there last night - a party of nine adults and 2 young children.

The food was very average but very expensive for what it was. The starters (containing many fish dishes) were carted around on a trolley from table to table for diners to select from and taken from the trolley to the kitchen to be cooked. Likewise the desserts (containing fresh cream) were served from a trolley. There must be food hygiene issues here as neither of the trolleys were chilled and the restaurant was very hot.

The staff did not give us sufficient time to select courses. We were rushed as they seemed to want us out quickly, yet we were a large group and in the end spent a lot of money there.

The service was poor - we were lifting plates over each others heads to be served vegetables, etc, because they couldn't be bothered to give us individual attention.

We rang beforehand to enquire whether it was okay to bring young children and was told 'yes yes no problem'. It quite clearly wasn't okay. We were placed at a ridiculous table (despite the large restaurant being relatively empty) near the entrance to the kitchen and bar area, and were constantly 'told off' if one of the children stood up or moved around.

To summarise, I cannot recommend this restuarant for the above reasons. This was an expensive meal for distinctly average food and poor (and somewhat rude) service.

this place has become my second home. Their food is fresh and tasty. portions are massive. the chops are the best i've tasted.

outside area is really chilled. they do shisha. try mint and grape shisha.

people are so friendly including staff and other customers. honestly i've not bn to a place like this before.
it's good if you wanna go somewhere eat and chill for a couple of hours. you know how some places u go n you feel like you have to leave after a u fini?well you dont feel like that here.

I must say that i cant keep away from this place, the staff are great, the food is great, and such a great selection. I have had parties here and highly recommend the sushi, It make my mouth water thinking about there dish, worth every penny, Its great for social,romantic or even just a snack or lunch or function. if your only just wondering go and try and enjoy.I must say that i cant keep away from this place, the staff are great, the food is great, and such a great selection. Great tarka dahl - really really authentic. Lamb curry is really great for those who want a notch up from Chicken Tikka Masala.

Suggest taking your time to explain what you're really looking for - Bangladeshi cuisine is typically very thick sauces and lots of chicken / lamb.

The clay oven came highly recommended. I believe another branch in Alperton, and maybe another in Wembley?? Anyway, we went to this on in ealing late one Friday night. In general the food seemed to be of good quality, a good range on the menu and wide range of tastes. The dÃ©cor of the restaurant was a little dated, looking like an old fashioned Indian restaurant; they do not market themselves like this. The staff were attentive, but lacked any real skill to build any type of rapport. I went to this restaurant quite a while ago so please bear this in mind, also I thought the food could have been cheaper.The clay oven came highly recommended. This place is lovely, it serves authentic japanese food, and most of the customers are japanese.

Food is of good quality, however the portions are small, and over-priced.

I used to live just up the street from Sorrento and loved it for the delicious, thin-based pizzas, the hearty pasta and the cute decor and romatic atmosphere.

It's now changed hands and become Toscana, and I visited last weekend. The 18mths absence has seen a change in management and decor and it's lost that lovely, intimate feeling (though I went at lunch time and it could be better in the evening with candles).

My friend and I both had pizzas and they were tasty, but not as good as they once were. Vanilla ice cream for dessert ordered by my friend came as toffee, but as it was tasty he didn't mind and made no comment.

Though small the gourmet burger kitchen is within easy reach of every bus that goes through ealing and the train station if you are coming from further a field to enjoy the food here. Of course a place like this in ealing is bound to attract families from around the area and I can see why. The food is definitely child friendly but this is not mac donalds or burger king and the more sophisticated side of gourmet burger makes it popular with parents and young professionals alike. The food is delicious and very varied with plenty to choose from on your burner. The decor is comfortable but modern and attractive and in summer the front disappears meaning, though small and crowded it is not stuffy and hot. I stay frequently at the Holiday Inn at Hanger Lane, and had despaired of finding a decent restaurant locally, but then I discovered Paolo's. It is just around the corner from the Park Royal tube station and about 10 minutes walk from the Holiday Inn, located in a side street.

Run by real Italians the food was some of the best and most authentic I have experienced in a UK Italian restaurant. I had a avocado, green leaf and bacon salad as a starter, and an entrecote steak on a bed of rocket as a main course. Both looked delicious and the taste was just as good. The dessert, chocolate mousse cake was OK, but probably not homemade. Coffee was excellent and the white house wine very enjoyable. Cost for the above, with mineral water and 2 glasses of wine, including service came to about Â£35. I have to say that all the food I saw passing by my table looked wonderful.

You can tell a lot about a restaurant from the way the treat a lone diner - some seem to resent giving up aa precious table for just one person! I went on a Tuesday night and the place was a third full. Service was welcoming, efficient and attentive, reasonably friendly but not overbearing.

This is an unpretentious, well run local italian restaurant.
