If you are looking for a shop that sells chocolate for you to sit on the sofa in jogging pants and stuff yourself silly, this is definately NOT the place to go. The chocolatier at Cocomaya is most definately an artist, and is proud of the work they do! In that respect it is very expensive. At Â£1.50 for a single chocolate, its far too much of an indulgence for me. I just keep thinking about how many other chocolates i could get for the money. I'm glad i tried it, but i personally won't go back because of the expense. The relocation of this Oriental supermarket to Queensway is nothing short but welcoming. Despite being a quarter size of the original in North London, this place is still well stocked with all the right stuff for the 21st century cooking enthusiast. In addition to the usual presence of fresh Oriental vegetables, exotic sauces, tinned food, spices, pot noodles, etc; a wet fish counter and a section offering ready prepared Chinese and South East Asian dishes for your microwave oven should be up and running soon.

If youâ¬"re in the vicinity next, either with or without any home cooking aspirations, grab a can or bottle of A&W root beer. (This delicious soft drink is a legacy left in Malaysia by an American chain of fast-food restaurants famous for the draught version).

Oriental City is the Asian mimesis of the great Lebanese Green Valley Supermarket off Edgware Road.

Great little place. I often drop by for soup or the glass noodle salad at lunchtime. If you dine in the restaurant their dumplings and buns are exceptional.
However it always seems too quiet - I guess it's a little off the beaten track and the paddington basin neighbourhood hasn't taken off yet.

This must be my most favourite cafe in London. First of all, the actual coffee is delicious. Secondly, I just love the place - it looks like it was furnished in 10 minutes - which is really cool, simple, old-looking tables and chairs, and funky random pictures. A place that feels creative and where you can be creative.

Never eaten there, so can't comment on the food.

The only thing I would improve is the service - It happened to me one or two times that the staff looked like they couldn't be bothered - but hey, maybe just a bad day!
