My favourite one to date was one by Takashi Murakami, the Japanese artist, several years ago. Anyhow, this is a favourite spot of mine and I tend not to research it but turn up after a good stroll through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.<br /><br />There is plenty going on at the Serpentine Gallery that I don&#39;t know a huge amount about I&#39;m afraid but there seem to be talks, seminars and other projects that are available to the general public. I just go for the exhibitions that seem to change every few months.<br /><br />There is a great bookshop that has a terrific collection of arts books and post cards that also makes a welcome break from the walk across the park. <br /><br />Interested or want to check-out what is on then try the Serpentine Gallery website:<br /><br />http://www.serpentinegallery.org<br /><br />ps. Oh and did I mention that it is free and open 10-6pm.
