Went with friends for a meal after booking. On arrival table not ready, no room to wait in the restaurant and then they tried to seat 6 of us on a table for 4. After finally getting a table big enough for all of us to sit round the food was very good. Overall experience spoilt by poor service and then having other guests waiting for a table standing and making rude comments. Were made to feel a unwelcome and pressured to leave despite good food would not reccommend.

Churreria Espanola is 1/3 greasy spoon cafÃ© dishing out the usual suspects and 2/3 Spanish restaurant specialising in tapas and home cooked specials. And before we all jump to conclusions, CE is hardly Catalan, itâ¬"s very Castilian and its roots hail from Madrid.

Although the full English appears on the menu, I strongly recommend the Andalucian improvisation of chorizo, marinated pork fillets, eggs and toast instead. This is a great twist to the usual; the spiciness of chorizo will eventually gear you up for the rest of the day and the lovely pork fillets are evidently a lot less salty and fatty than the typical rashers of bacon. If you decide to come here for lunch instead, go for the daily specials on the blackboard. These specials include Estofado (pork stew), Pollo a la Riojana (Rioja-Style Chicken), full monty Paella and so on. This place is also home to one of the cheapest plates of Pimientos de PadrÃ³n in London; these small green peppers with their mild but explosive flavours are bingeingly addictive. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. The ambience is well, a near workman cafÃ© like.

Thereâ¬"s nothing better to end the meal here than a sinful cup of thick Spanish hot chocolate and some churros. Dunking the churros in the chocolate is a perfect contribution to joie de vivre.

Itâ¬"s beyond dispute â¬ Caffe Nero are definitely the best coffee shop in London. They make a point of putting two shots of coffee into every cup (unless you ask for only one) and their coffee is always very fresh and delicious. I would use them all the time except that their food â¬ which it has to be said is also of the highest quality â¬ is overpriced. And you canâ¬"t really buy a sandwich to take away â¬ most of their sandwiches are paninis which are best eaten toasted and hot on the spot.

As with most good quality coffee shops, there are comfortable sofas and this is a good place to meet people, or just to chill after a shopping spree. This is a small venue, and the only reason I have deducted a star is that it gives the impression of being rather dark. Otherwise, 10/10.

It is fair to say we are all bored of Pret and its ridiciously unhealthy sandwiches. I recently started working in Paddington and found this lunchtime gem with the best salad bar. You can choose your salad base (they have pasta, cous cous, noodles as well as lettuce) and then have a house salad or make your own salad. They are about twice the size of other places and packed with ingredients, not just lettuce. They also do sandwiches, smoothies, soups, chillies and best of all they give all the nutritional info on everything and its all healthy.

Haminados is a home-made food deli.
The owner was already learning the secrets of making a good Boorekas in the 70â¬"s.

(try it - it is amazing!) He makes good bread as well. I tried the Mousaka once and it was very tasty! Basically, when you are there , just ask -â¬"is there anything which came now from the oven? â¬Ü To sit there is not amazing so I rather take away.
