I went to this place last weekend and thought it was really good. I have never really been out in the Shoreditch way but my friends and I were up for trying it out and I am so glad that we did!
The music was really amazing and the sound system that they have there was wicked!
We got there about 10:00pm and it was buzzing with atmosphere and we ended up staying there for the rest of the night.
The staff were so friendly on the door and at the bar. The cocktails were shockingly good! And they had such a selection of them that it was too hard to choose!
It closed at 2:00am but I wish it stayed open later as I was having such a good time!

I was in London on business and staying nearby and discovered Giovanni's by chance.

This is a proper Italian restaurant with friendly service and a delightful ambience. I really enjoyed my Tricolore starter, pasta with smoked chicken with garlic for a main course, and the awesome chocolate mousse. The house wine was very drinkable.

This is an unpretentious and welcoming restaurant, and if we lived nearby my wife and I would probably be in there all the time! As it was, I was made to feel very at home eating on my own, and will without doubt be returning in the future.

It is as good - if not slightly better - than my other favourite Italian which is Casalingo in Brighton.

I went there for lunch. It is funny how you can tell if a place is a bar or a restaurant by the way it smells...
We had Pad Thai was was quite alright. To order drinks, you will have to go to the bar. The gents were not an eye candy... It is a good option for food. I still want to check the live performance.

Last time I was here one of the shabby bookshelfs nearly fell on the girl sitting opposite me. The time before a (apparently homeless) lady got up for some impromptu phallic themed poetry while accomanied by a piano player. While around 20 old tv screens looped images ready to turn me back to vegetarianism.

This place is awesome.

They also have a great selection of organic and local beers and cider. So local in fact, that they used to roll their kegs from the micro-brewer only 100metres away in Pitfield street. Sadly the brewery moved but they still sell bottles of 'Pitfield'.

I really like this place for meeting friends at the start of a night. We tend to stop buy for a quiet one on week nights afterwork where it's nicely buzzy but you still have hope of getting one of the wooden tables or bences (I like the one with the sewing machine pedal underneath the best).

Haven't tried the food but have been tempted by the aromas which could mean it's good. Or just that I'm a hungry drunk.

Decent drinks selection with plenty of beers on tap if that's your thing. This little bar is a great place - during the week it is filled with romancing couples and Friday and Saturday things hot up and the place is rammed with revellers. There isn't another like it in the area. The whole place is a bundle of contradictions; - it is a bit grubby, but it has an undeniable charm and a really interesting crowd. Some of the venue's cocktails are hit and miss but the classic drinks are excellent - try a Mojito, a Long Island Iced Tea, a Margarita or one of their knockout Martinis. These are not shabby drinks. On busy nights staff can get a bit stretched knocking these out over and over again - If they hired more people the place would be perfect. They also have a happy hour till 8pm.

I came here for a friend's birthday and I have to say, it's a very nice pub. It is quite hard to find if you don't know the area as I found out. I ended up having an argument with my boyfriend over it.

It has all the usual things that a gastropub offers such as trendy decor, a decent menu, they were quick to serve at the bar and the ale comes in proper ale glasses (nice!).

Very cool place, totally relaxed. If you get them on a quieter night, they've been known to plug your ipod into the sound system for all to hear. Real authentic boozer with a swirl of hip. Industry is a bar like any other in London-you could be in one of 100 places in the area. I'm reviewing it for Thursday nights because they have a dice offer on (and it's the only night I've ver been there)-if you beat the barperson then you get your drinks free. It's a good crowd, nice looking ladies and the possibility of cheap drinks. What a breath of fresh air.

Hoxton can have some pretty nice bars and some horrible ones too. This is one of the nicest, the staff at Bluu made me feel welcome; there were no pretentious attitude and the food was excellent, good and wholesome.

Itâ¬"s becoming very difficult to find a warm and welcoming bar in Hoxton, but this one fits the bill.

As Iâ¬"m a strong believer of it's not where you are it's who you're with it's quite difficult to ruin my evening. But there's so much attitude and arrogance here it's difficult to relax and have a good time.

The staff are really slow and again arrogant, I thought this might be a Hoxton thing but none of the other bars in he area are like this.

On the upside it is pretty inside!

It's ok, worth a visit.

Personally I don't think it's anything special and only really tend to pop in when I passing by never really pre- arranged.

It does get really busy, I think it attracts a lot of local business' for after work drinks
