Friendly boozer with limited but good real ale on tap (Bombardier and Black Sheep), and solid inexpensive Thai Food. The spicy beef salad is especially good. The Sunday roasts are satisfying and tasty, with the service quick, accurate and unassuming. I have been coming in the Prince a couple of times a week for over a year. For quite drinks during the week and with a couple of other families at the weekend for the great Sunday roast. We have always had great service and have never had any reason to complain about the food. From talking to other friends and parents in the area i think that most regular Prince customers feel the same. Staff were heard telling people to F off. Bar was extremely over crowded and the music was at a dangerously loud level. No chill out or smoking area (other than the street, where you cannot take drinks). Generally full of very drunk 20-25 year-olds moving their heads to the music. Had many good times here. Very basic pub. Food is good and cheap. Everytime I went I was hoping that the place would be bigger.. it is a small bar. The music is mainly RNB and the place is friendly enough. Hoo wee! This place is wild. Stuck on the high street, come in here on a weekend night and you'll be bombarded with life. From cheeky chappies to rude boys, yuppies to old drunkards, Father Ted's has room for all and entertains it's patrons with loud music, cheap drinks and fun times. The beer's always cold and tasty, the staff always firm and friendly. There's no other place like it in Stoke Newington. Admittedly, the name is a bit naff. It should be called 'Slaggy Island' instead of Father Ted's. This unpredictable, anything-goes haunt is the type of place where you can truly lose yourself. Well worth a visit.Hoo wee! This is a cracking little boozer. The bar staff are the prettiest and friendliest all around, and can often be found dancing on the semi-circular bar after last orders. The drink selection is superb and every beer is chilled to perfection. Whether youâ¬"re seated at a stool on the bar, or at tables or on the mega comfy sofas, you are sure to have a very comfortable time. They have lots of quality beers on tap, such as Hoegaarden and Oranjeboom. And they serve beautiful Thai cusine â¬their Pad Thai is superb. Most of all, Ryanâ¬"s Bar has a nice big long beer garden that is a pleasure to sit, drink and talk in. White Hart? It's painted black, for a start. Or at least a very dark green. The beer garden is filled with mismatched furniture, the room never seems to get very full, and the bar staff are perfunctory. Still, I like this place because it's quiet and unassuming and not very stressful at all. The pub is very big and there's always plenty of space, you'll rarely have trouble finding a seat. They don't have a wide selection of real ales but this isn't a 'Camra' type place. They also have the best quiz machine in London â¬it always pays! Well worth a visit.White Hart?
