Amoul - Appalling Coffee House by MissV

It has arguably the rudest woman in London serving its customers. I had the misfortune of visiting this establishment with friends recently. I ordered a jasmine tea and when it turned up I asked if I could have more tea in the cup as I liked my tea quite strong.
I was told I had an attitude on me. Shocked by what had been said I followed her as she stormed off back behind the counter to stop her making another cup. I watched her grab the tin of tea to make a stronger cup and saw her throw it back in its place. I explained I no longer wanted the tea - in fact, I didn't want anything. My request was ignored as she carried on making the tea. She then asked me if I had any idea how much the tea cost her and told me that the tin of tea cost her £20. She then proceeded to take me through the instructions on the tin which apparently say put 3 jasmine pearls in a cup (she put two in mine). I tried to explain again that I didn't want the tea, I was told "too late" - she had now made the tea and I was getting it like it or not. Seems at some point I (the customer?) had lost any say in the matter. I went back to the table where my friends were seated and where she had plonked the unwanted tea. My friends told me that this particular woman is always rude and offhand to customers. I asked why they go there and they said - because it's convenient and the cafe looks nice.
Fortunately for me this particular cafe isn't that convenient. I think I'll stick with the other cafes where you get what you want served without the psycho staff.Enter this cafe at your peril. Its posh food shopping at its best! There is a selection of quality cakes, and there are also ready meals (I mean that in the loosed sense of the word, they arenâ¬"t full of junk but are healthy meals so you donâ¬"t have to worry about the contents). The staff are always helpful and it really is a pleasure to shop here.
