Liverpool Street underground station is more likely several underground stations and this is because several go through here and having the rail station above, it is also a major junction for people to cross through and change transport links or routes.

This being said, just moving around the underground station to get from one to another can take a little bit of effort.

You may have to walk quite a while along sloping ramps, up escalators and even stairs and around bends and turns just to get to another station or just out to Liverpool Street rail station itself. This is not so bad unless you have a lot of luggage and it can be difficult if you have too many bags.

With four tube stations passing through Liverpool street station, it has to be this way almost but this also provides you with some help as well, for example, itâ¬"s just one stop to get to the Northern Line and you can take either the Circle or Hammersmith & City line, both running on the same track, so you donâ¬"t have to walk to different lines in this case, just pick a the first train that some along if its only for a few stops that are the same for a while down the line.

When problems occur though, the busy underground can get even busier and with so many people jostling and if you have luggage, this can be unpleasant.

There are plenty of exits into the rail station which takes you right on the platforms literally and there are staff on hand if you are not familiar with the station that can point you in the direction of the shops, ticket office, departure/arrivals board, bus stops and so on.

Liverpool Street rain station is big! Once you know your way round it, it doesnâ¬"t seem so big, but it has two floors for the concourse and being a major terminal for buses, the underground and a start and stop zone for a dozen train lines, means this is by no means a small place.

As stated there are a dozen tracks heading of to many areas, one example, Liverpool Street station to Norwich in under two hours. Trains to this destination are quite frequent.

Ticket offices can get busy, so if you can buy your tickets beforehand, this may help. There are plenty of shops in the concourse both for eating or for gifts, books or magazines you might want for your journey, in or out of London.

Free helpful, information staff are around, and the departures and arrivals board is large and you canâ¬"t miss it. Itâ¬"s clean and there are quite a few seats available, though this is a busy station.

There is lots to see and do if you are waiting for a train, in the shops and with the buses upstairs you just need to walk to get there, where some are the first stop, so you are almost guaranteed to get a seat every time.

With the underground just down a few steps that lead straight onto the rail platforms, literally, you have this also as an alternative route in and out of Liverpool Street.
