We became regulars from day one (when we had no kitchen). They do the best cooked breakfast or fresh croissants and fruit salad for earlier in the day. The best surprise is you can go from cafe strip with music to (down the stairs) various cosy rooms, & venture further and you get a light conservatory and then classic tea room gardens! Quiche and salads for lunch crowd and regular evening meals now too. A glut of regular crowd for the poorly provided Brockley crowd. Came to the Royal Albert only to find that they had a PIE eating competition on!!!

The Bunting was up, it was a sunny day and 5 lads stuffed their faces with cream pie!!!

Brilliant entertainment.

The pub food was fantastic with a strong gastro influenced menu.

We ordered a jug of Pimms which came with strawberries, cucumber, mint, orange and massive chunks of watermelon.

All staff were exceptionally friendly including the chef who had made the pies [he told us his secret recipe!!!]

Best pub I'd been to for a while. Real genuine feel.

It's my 3rd time visiting the est. and it is under new management. The staff are friendly and welocoming. The new staff are British and communicate well.

If you choose from the menu then it be like any other chinese BUT i opt for the Buffet. The food is suprisingly tasty. It is a very popular choice for a reason apart from it's cheap.

As you sit in the social and happy atmosphere you get a couple of local kids but you get them everywhere. thats ok.

You notice that there is a variety of choice which i like to try everything. The chicken wings are delicious!

Try not to over stuff yourself because then you will feel unable to walk!

What a fantastic pub never knew this pub was here. What a great little boozer. Off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Local people with local banter. Just a great pub! I have always been told not to go here, but i had heard they have changed their image and got rid of the troublesome customers so my friends and i decided to give it a shot. We usually have a great night out in Greewich, and i'm pleased to say it was made all the more special because of St Christophers Inn. I wouldn't say it has anything to do with its religious namesake, especially after what one couple were doing in the corner!! Shocking! The music is loud and they have a really good DJ. Normally with a local restaurant this good I'd keep quiet, but to be honest they're fully booked every night anyway so it won't make much difference! This tiny Malaysian restaurant in a grotty bit of Deptford (by Deptford Bridge DLR) serves utterly beautiful Malaysian food. Run by a couple (Ambrose and Linda) who make absolutely every visitor feel amazingly welcome (honestly, he knows most of the customers by name), the service is fab and the food is great value. I haven't managed to work my way through the whole menu yet, but standouts so far are the drunken chicken (beautifully flavoured with ginger) and the sambal dishes. The noodles and just simple things like dumplings are excellently done.
