We ate here several times while staying at the Thistle Barbican in January 2005. While there was no place to sit and the fellows working there spoke mostly something other than English, we got our point across and they teased our palates!

I had various versions of their curry, which we don't get back home. Spectacular. Ok, so it's a hole in the wall, but the food was outstanding!

Having moved to the UK almost two years ago and tried just about every restaurant we pass that claims to be Mexican, this certainly is the best. For those Americans out there who enjoy Chipotle and Qdoba, here is your answer!!

Chilango is a fast casual restaurant with a warm atmosphere and a very friendly, helpful staff. The food is tasty and very fresh! The value for the meal is excellent as well, just over £5 for a burrito that will certainly leave you full!
The staff has always been helpful and accommodating. There is tons of seating so you never have to worry about finding a place to sit, which includes a nice seating area outside!
I certainly believe Chilango has out done their competition in Islington. My partner and I have tried Desperado and we use to go to Tortilla every week until we tried Chilango. There was no comparison! We eat there at least once a week. Absolutely terrible-DO NOT GO HERE! I received severe food poisoning which lasted for two weeks. There is no doubt that I received the poisoning from here as the meat was of a poor standard and partially undercooked.It also looked like it had been left out for a long time on the counter.. the only reason I went here is because I hadn't eaten all day!Please, for your own sake, don't go here.Absolutely terrible-DO NOT GO HERE! This place has to get the thumbs up - partly for the souped up cafe look and the delicacy of the spices they use. The staff here are a nice bunch who take pride in what they're doing. The lunchtime specials are good value, tasty and filling. Prices are motoring out of the cheap belt into think-about it territory. Its an old style cafe with plastic bucket seats concreted into the floor that's been given a jazzy make-over. Signs on the wall offer the locals what they want - Tandoori and Chips! The decor is bit eye-frying. Despite this I get the feeling that the staff take their food seriously. Fish and Chips are a great British tradition, in a survey I looked at a few weeks ago over 50% of people think thatâ¬"s one of the main parts of British culture. Apart from that they are just very tasty. Most fish and chip shops will also sell other things ranging from sausages to pies and bread rolls so if youâ¬"re not6 a fish person then itâ¬"s okay youâ¬"ll find something else tasty you like. One of my favourite fish and chip shops is Golden Fish Bar and when Iâ¬"m in the area I always make sure I pay it a visit. They give you huge portions of food and I always end up leaving some of it but if you only want a snack itâ¬"s a great place to go and buy some chips to share with somebody else. Whatâ¬"s different about this fish and chip shop is that it also has a restaurant part you can eat in up until 2pm and then you can just order takeaway food. This small McDonalds is in Angel but off to one side. It's not a big one but is situated a little out of the way and if you are passing or fancy some takeaway then this is one place to definitely consider. It is however clean and comfortable and a nice place to visit.

As it is clean and functional, it is also not always busy so getting a seat should not be a problem and if you want to use facilities nearby, it all just a short walk away, from the shops, the cinema, or just needing to travel through the main road for a bus or get to Angel tube station.This small McDonalds is in Angel but off to one side. You realy cant beat this place for a takeaway its clean,great food excellent service and cheap prices.
you can see them cooking as they have an open kitchen so you can see its fresh ,and how clean it is ,
they always throw in extras like curry sauce or prawn crackers (sometimes coke for the kids)anre always extremly freindly and the food is lovely.
if you live local give them ago as its the best chinesse ive triedYou realy cant beat this place for a takeaway its clean,great food excellent service and cheap prices.

This is the Subway I frequent most. If youÂ´re hungry, go for a "footlonger", otherwise a "6-inch" should suffice.

The good: they have a huge variety of fillings, from spicy meatball, varieties of flavoured chicken, tuna, hot peppers, salads, mayo, cheese sauces, hot sauces, you name it. Chose your bread from grained, brown, Italian, ect. You can order a meal with a drink and side snack to go with the sub for around Â£5, have your sub heated and all the options you can ask for. Sub of the day for between Â£2 - Â£2.50 will get you one of the more standard footlong subs from the pre set menu..
