i used to go to this pub and it was a big surprise when i entered again because it is under new ownership and it went from a relatively poor condition to a more sophisticated and upmarket place. They have done the gardens and the interior, they also have two big plasma tvs with a mainstage which contains an overhead projector and is commonly used for social events. and soon it will contain an italian restaurant.
it's well worth paying a visits, i give it high regards.

A lovely pub with some good food, though no longer the excellent fare that was available before the change in management a couple of years ago. Nice, big pub with a lot of space. Good for bands. Gets very lively at the weekend. Drinks are slightly above average prices for the area and it can be too noisy.Nice, big pub with a lot of space. This pub was not what I expected, but in a good way! It has the look and feel of a modern style, non-pretentious pub, but when you get the food menu, it's Thai/Fusion instead of the expected posh pub fare. I had the chicken green curry which was lovely and spicy, along with a vegetable tempura to start. The food was reasonably priced, as were the drinks, and service quite good. The Tollington Arms operates more as a pub than a restaurant (or so it seemed that night), but it's definitely worth going for the food!
