Harlesden Station - Handy for buses, but a bit dodgy. by moner

This is a dimly lit station, with dark platforms and bad smell in booking office area (like some-one had used it to urinate in). Bit unsavoury. I thought it was not nice to wait around there. I don't understand by LT don't spend money on cleaning up and decorating stations and leave them in this state for London visitors to see. There are no taxi's outside the station, but ther is a bus stop just outside-so the station is handy for this Also handy for the local hospital (Central Middx). When I have been to the station there was no-one in the booking office. This station could do with a lick of paint and some more security. Platforms are a bit dark, with the rails lovers down than the platform. and no-one is in the ticket office usually. There appeared to be a lot of youths hanging around the front of the station and on the platform in hoodies-swearing, so you do not feel very safe. They also appear not to be buying or using any tickets and rush to board the tube train. I would not recommend that any young lady wait her with her friends or def on her own. It is a bit dark and isolated on the platform and really this station should be avoided if possible.This station could do with a lick of paint and some more security.
