Utterly brilliant!! Love this place. So healthy, so tasty, so good.. The summer rolls are a definite every time, and the pho I mix up, it doesn't matter, they are all delicious.

Luckily, it doesn't take long to get served here, because you are salivating from the moment you walk in. Service is always good.

The great thing about Pho is that it focuses on a few things from Vietnamese cuisine, and does them extremely well. It's not a traditional Vietnamese restaurant with a massive menu. It is a pho cafe.

As for the noodle soups themselves - amazing. Bursting with flavours and aromas, and accompanied by a plate of fresh herbs to let you add the final hints to your suiting. A big inhalation, and then dive in...Utterly brilliant!! Love this place. So healthy, so tasty, so good.. Jermyn Street is home to many great shops to buy men's clothing, so there is a lot of competition. I have visited Herbie Frogg a few times and I consistently received poor service. It is unfortunate because some of the clothes are acceptable, particularly for the price. However, it is not worth a visit given the poor treatment from staff (they are out-of-date, rude and unprofessional) you are likely to receive, which is likely why they now have signs indicating they are closing down... let's hope a better shop takes its place.Jermyn Street is home to many great shops to buy men's clothing, so there is a lot of competition. When I first stumbled on this place a couple of months ago, I was happily in love and glad to recommend it to friends. Sadly the honeymoon period seems to be over. Despite impressive coffee, an inventive and well executed menu and a playful, elegant interior (surely these three reasons are enough in themselves to suggest I had found a great local), I won't be visiting Lantana again. I won't go into the details here for fear of sounding puerile or melodramatic, but I can summarise with the conclusion that this was the rudest and indeed worst service I have ever received in London. I was enraged to the point of leaving the cafe before placing an order and appalled to be entirely dismissed by noxious, disinterested sarcasm when returning to explain my disappointment later in the day. If you can tolerate being treated with utter contempt, you'll find good things. Otherwise, I recommend finding somewhere with a little more soul, humanity (in fact) and decent manners. Just started working in the area a couple of weeks ago and already had two very dissapointing visits to Tossed on St. Martin's lane. The first time I happened to be helped by someone who had just started so I decided to be forgiving and give the place a second go. Mistake.

The salad bar staff have no specific work area so they just run around getting in each other's way. My server gave me lip because I asked for a wrap but didn't have a base salad in my hands. Apparently, a wrap without a tonne of lettuce is weird. After he put the ingredients in a bowl he passed it on to someone else who had no idea what they were doing - the process was about 15 minutes, bit much for someone on their lunchbreak run

I got bored of watching her so I walked over to the till waiting for my food. I got harrassed to pay before I received it, which I refused. Result? Dirty look.

After she finally managed to finish my wrap, she handed it over to someone else, who gave it to another customer who was waiting for another wrap. By the time I caught on, she walked off with it. At that point, I left and I will NEVER go back. Boo hiss.

This is a great little vegan cafe although not somewhere youâ¬"d go to celebrate a special occasion.

For vegans and vegetarians, itâ¬"s very useful to know that you can enjoy a large selection of dishes including vegan meats. At Â£6.50, itâ¬"s a really cheap venue for lunch when you happen to be up in that part of town. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I think you may be able to bring in alcohol; not sure. There are two buffet tables; one for hot dishes and one for cold dishes. A touch unhealthy but filling. I've given the food 4 stars because of the wide choice of vegan dishes - the largest I believe I've seen, not necessarily the quality. I was lucky to be invited to Fino for lunch. My host ordered, and all the dishes were delicious: a classic Tortilla, chorizo chips, pimientos al padron, squid, black bream, fried artichokes and tomato salad. Service was stylish and competent. I have been using Kingley St Fitness First for about 10 months now. The main selling point is its location 3 minutes from my office.

As gyms go it is quite average. It tends to be very crowded during the week, especially in the afternoons and evenings.

The equipment is adequate and generally in good working order, although be prepared for a wait for benches during busy times.

However it did take them several weeks to repair the broken water fountain - quite an inconvenience being summer.

Avoid using the lockers at all costs. Shady characters blatantly have a master key, because I had my wallet and phone stolen from my LOCKED locker twice in two weeks, in the couple of minutes I was in the shower.

Needless to say I either leave my valuables at the office, or take them in the shower if I cycle in of a morning.

Roka is a Robata-yaki restaurant. No, I didn't know what it meant either - it turns out that it stands for the large charcoal grill in the centre of the room - the Robata - and the food cooked on it. Sort of a Japanese barbecue pit, only with sushi on the side instead of cornbread and grits, it attracted my interest because there's very few things I won't eat that have been cooked on a charcoal grill (to be fair, there are very few things I won't eat full stop, except perhaps raw rabbit brains, which is a shame because I'm apparently going to be served them in El Bulli in September... wish me luck).

We began with the obligitory bowl of edamame, which were a very good example of their kind - in fact probably the best I've had. Buttery and moist inside, salted evenly throughout and packed with flavour. Super.

Next arrived a very attractive plate of sashimi, with the even slices of raw fish arranged around a spectacular mountain of solid ice. The fish itself was fine - no more but certainly no less tasty than that I've had elsewhere - but it was the presentation that won here. Maybe that's the point of sashimi after all.

Next began arriving the hot dishes. My least favourite was first - a tray of grilled aubergine. It occurred to me as I was working my way through the soggy pieces of vegetable that perhaps I just don't like aubergine, and indeed I can't think of many times I've really been wowed by what is essentially a big tasteless bag of mushy grey flesh. Perhaps one day I'll be proved wrong, but in the meantime, I Don't Like Aubergine. There, I've said it.

Then, to save the day, a great dish of grilled chicken wings, coated I think in some sort of honey and soy sauce and sesame seeds, and a little wooden spoon of sea salt by the side. There was nothing subtle about the flavours here, but the crispy sugar from the honey, the sea salt and the chicken fat combined to produce a wonderful feast for every part of your palette. This was food from heaven's own barbecue - bold and brilliant.

And then, as if that wasn't enough, the black cod arrived. At Â£20 a plate, this had a lot to live up to, but boy did it. A sweet crust of honey and spices broke to reveal the most incredibly meaty, flavoursome flesh and gorgeous crispy skin underneath. Served prettily inside a dried leaf and with a stick of what looked and tasted like pickled lemongrass, the fact that it was actually very slightly overcooked at the edges did nothing to distract from the extraordinarily rich flavour of the fish and masterful use of spices. Worth every bit of its Â£20 price tag, this is the first fish dish I've had in a very long time that I never wanted to end. I've been dreaming about it ever since.

Along with impeccable and genuinely friendly service and a light and informal room (we bundled in wearing jeans and t-shirts and laden with John Lewis shopping bags but didn't feel out of place), you'd be nit picking to find anything to fault about Roka at all. Apart from the odd extravagant option (and if that black cod is any indication, these are pricey for a reason) it is all very reasonably priced, presented with flair bordering on artistry, and yet with the most important thing - the flavour - still taking centre stage. We had been to the Angus Steak House in Leicester Square the day before and had an amazing steak but today we only had a couple of hours so we decided to eat at another of their restaurants. We only wanted dessert and we werenâ¬"t disappointed. There were eight of us and some restaurants dont like such a big group of boys, but they were more than happy to seat us. They immediately put a group of tables together outside on the terrace and were more than happy to serve us. We had such a funny waiter who had us in stitches. There was a premier being set up right in front of us â¬ and we spotted a couple of comedians Sean Lock and Jason Manford from 8 out of 10 cats. Couldnâ¬"t get much better, sitting in the sunshine being served more and more desserts.
What a lovely restaurant â¬ inside was fantastic with massive murals on the walls and traditional fish and chip restaurant decor. The fish and chips looked great â¬ massive portions (shame we had our dinner on the ship)
We asked for them to make platters of desserts so we could all have some of each â¬ it was a fight among the boys to get to the Apple Pie and Custard but by the end we could hardly move. We went through, cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake, treacle sponge, strawberries and ice cream and we even had deep fried mars bar (and it was great). They were the best desserts Iâ¬"ve ever had (just wish they delivered to the ship).

No... sorry... I realise these two reviews are a couple of years old... but I thought this place was awful.

I went with a few friends and we were given a table up in a room away from the main part of the restaurant - which was actually great for us to catch up but it meant I can't really comment on the atmosphere of the place. The waitress was pretty efficient for having to come up two flights of stairs to serve three tables, but the food was truly dreadful. We tried three different dim sum from a very small and unexciting selection - I'd read that Dim T was THE place to eat it? - and this was only about three weeks ago but I've already forgotten what they were which speaks volumes: I can tell you exactly what I ate in Ping Pong two months ago and I had a go on eight different plates there! Whatever these dim sum were though, they were pretty flavourless, soggy and salty. My Singapore noodles were a huge, sticky, tasteless mound of vermincelli with a couple of dry slices of chicken in and I think I may have seen a prawn too. the Landau is at the Langham hotel where my wife's family and friends descended for our pre-Christmas lunch. Perhaps the pastel decor offended me but I didn't expect anything above a standard hotel meal. .... Wrong !

The "Oeuf Froit Albert" salmon, hen's yolk and artichoke was awesome. The Foie Gras parfait was equally excellent. With the biggest yorkshire puddings, I could not resist the roast beef which was just too polite. Perhaps I will learn that a gleaming dining room like this is not going to serve a rustic rib of beef. Nonetheless it was OK.

The deserts were back to the form of the starters. Excellent and all for Â£35.
