This is a totally authentic Korean restaurant which has had high standards since inception, many years ago. Well above average.

A little hidden as it is off the high street, though very close to the Finchley Central southside tube exit. Well worth an exploratory visit.

Once you have adjusted your palate to the unusual dishes, you will thoroughly enjoy it. The menu does go some way to helping you understand Korean food so that you can plan.

If you are unfamiliar with the menu, go for one of the set menu options, and be prepared for a good feast.

The Kimchee they make is so good it is a sideline and sold on to other places in London, and the owner has written & published a book on the cusine.

ThThere is a good selection of wines spirits & beers and of course most of the customers drink beer.

Frequented by lots of Japanese as well as locals.

With so many run of the mill kebab places in London it is hard to find a good, authentic Turkish restaurant to eat it. I frequent the restaurant as I work in the area and must say it's very good for a quality lunch if you are looking to have something different from the regular sandwich. Starters are good to be shared between people, they also bring a choice of dips for your bread. Main meals are good portions and the choice is great if you'd rather have vegetables rather than meat. Friends is my local take away fish & chips chippy and I could not wish for mre, the fish is fresh and beautifully cooked, chips are delicious without being greasy, I could not wish for more. I love the Greek salads, the olives are to die for. It has just been taken over and it's even better than before, I would recommned it to anyone. Next door they have a beautiful fish restaurant with a wide range of fish in its menu.
For those who love meat, the menu is just as wide. The staff is friendly and will even offer you a seat if the wait is too lomg. I could not recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed. A quality restaurant/bistro, hidden behind a bus stop near to Finchley Central Underground station.

Great service. The food is prepared in plain view at the back.

I recommend the duck!

We go to Shiraz regularly and love it. The food is fantastic, one of the best Iranian restaurants I have ever been to (and I have been to many!).

Very good Japanese restaurant, the food is always freshly made by the chef, (if you sit at the 'bar' you can observe him making the dishes) and the sushi is just brillant.
