This is one of my favourite places for afternoon tea. It is such a relaxed atmosphere and you can just sit there and enjoy your afternoon eating sandwiches, scones and cakes and drinking tea.

Afternoon tea is served in the Winter Garden and there is often a pianist playing in the background to add that extra bit of atmosphere. I find this to be a far better standard than other hotels that offer afternoon tea and they will also replenish the food or tea if you want more. It is between £30 and £38 a head depending on if you go for a champagne option, but is well worth the money.
