This Thai run greasy spoon cafÃ© is located in a surreal bustling market where you might just about bump into Del Boy and Rodney Trotter.

The regular and I daresay, more mature patrons devour the all day full English breakfasts and trad roast dinners. Whereas the younger diners opt for the huge options of Thai influenced Asian one-meal dishes of either rice or noodles. My deliciously spicy Tom Kha Chicken Noodle Soup was suitably chilli hot (perfect as a cold winterâ¬"s dish) and coconutty. My companionâ¬"s Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Satay, gargantuan in size, was described as very good.

This place is great, cheap beyond belief and betters the ready-made Green Curry options normally found in your local supermarketâ¬"s chiller. Bring a fiver with you and be more than pleasantly surprised.

Itâ¬"s beyond dispute â¬ Caffe Nero are definitely the best coffee shop in London. They make a point of putting two shots of coffee into every cup (unless you ask for only one) and their coffee is always very fresh and delicious. I would use them all the time except that their food â¬ which it has to be said is also of the highest quality â¬ is overpriced. And you canâ¬"t really buy a sandwich to take away â¬ most of their sandwiches are paninis which are best eaten toasted and hot on the spot.

As with most good quality coffee shops, there are comfortable sofas and this is a good place to meet people, or just to chill after a shopping spree. This is a small venue, and the only reason I have deducted a star is that it gives the impression of being rather dark. Otherwise, 10/10.
