the service of this restraunt should be one factor why i would like to go here again. the clientle of this restraunt indicated to me that its a well known place, the prices are competitve in some cases but the prices for the rice dishes to me seemed on the higher end marginally but was not a cause of concern, i ordered a vindaloo curry, it was nicely finished, i also had the makhni curry which is worth mentioning, i topped this out with a mango lassi and scoop of choc ice cream for dessert, all in all was good experience. what i must say abt d decor is dat it is a little bold but dat depends whether u like it or not as dey say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Hmm Addies....this is definitely the best thai restaurant in the area.

The food is good quality and good value.
Service is very quick and I imagine they turnaround a lot of tables of an evening.

They also do a take way service if you don't fancy leaving the house and their menu is on-line.(http://www.addiesthai.co.uk/)

There is a bar in the basement which I have not been to but you have to go through to get to the toliets and I think last time I went though it there was karaoke. :-)

the most authentic japanese ive ever been to. you eat almost in the familys kitchen. Their speciality is tempura and my god is it special. i real treat!

After nearly 3 years in London I finally found my "canteen": the place I'd go when I do not feel like cooking or when I am a bit home sick!

Last night we went to this tiny little place and we left very pleased.

The menu is very simple. Salmon "en Papillotte", Cod "a la Provencale", portions are not enormous but enough.

The atmosphere is really like the one you'd have in a corner restaurant in France and the service is very friendly and fast (there are only 12 seats, though!).

Ok, you might say, fine ... ood's alright, portions are not enormous .... so what is great about this Little French Restaurant?

I will answer detailing our bill:

3 course dinner at less than Â£10! HOW ABOUT THAT?!
At Â£9.95 the menu, we were very pleased.
Our bill Â£44:
- 2 x 3-course menus@ Â£9.95
- 1 bottle of wine
- 2 side orders (no veg are included with the main courses)
- 1 coffee

We went twice to Langan's Coq d'Or and both times we loved it. The cuisine tends a lot on the French side but a touch of English cuisine makes the food really unique.

The wines are good too - We had an excellent New Zealand red last time we went and we keep talking about it!

This cafe/restaurant has long been a favourite of mine but now under new management it has become a MUST. The menu is inspired by the Montignac diet (the first low GI guru)and is delicious. It's so healthy even the puddings are sugar free and made using wholemeal flour. It's so convincingly indulgent that every boy I know that has been there loves it too. If I lived next door I'd make it my local. The lemon tart is a must, as is the chickpea choc chip cookie but I could honestly eat it all!
The new prices are more reasonable. A large mixed salad plate to share is £10 and provided ample food so much so you might have to save the chocolate cake til tea. I am not really sure about As Greek As it Gets... I have to be honest though, I only went there once, late at night, for some take away on my way home. And that time I wasn't really impressed with the food. Maybe I should try again. The other review is very postive about the food...

For sure you cannot miss it! The decor is quite extravagant and the bright colors/light will definitely attract you when going down Earls Court Road.I am not really sure about As Greek As it Gets... Tendido Cero is a very nice tapas-bar in Old Brompton Road. I love their tapas and especially the fried pimientos! The atmosphere is quite nice and the staff very friendly.
