I asked the other customer what was going on he said they often did stuff like that to make it look as though they were really busy! He said he went in just for the great entertainment,(as the food was awful- I agreed) such as them always moving the furniture around, or the family sitting outside eating ice-cream and no one in the cafe. Hear they didn't last long. Shame, they were such a laugh! Maybe they've become furniture removers!Went there a couple of years ago and watched in amazement an old woman called Moona or Mona sitting with her son and another couple. He was seated just inside the open french window and she on the outside (about 2 feet lower down at a table on the pavement) and the other couple were facing them! It looked so weird. She kept craning her neck to look up to talk to her son. In fact if I wanted great coffee I'd have to head to one of the few specialist coffee shops in central London. They were playing blues music, the pastries were just made, and the benches were cozy. My coffee was incredibly delicious. No messing with sizes here, just make it good. Stopping in reminded me how great a place this is. If you're in Ealing, it's a café that's worth the short stroll. On my walk back home from physio - always a time for painful deliberation - I stopped for a cappuccino at Munson's.
