well the new management certainly have turned in from a dive to a place to go!!!

Cheap drinks, wicked cocktails and great music!

If you ever had good food dont bother with this place. The menu would be pretentious if they knew how to make the dishes. Its like a catering school on a bad day! As someone who has frequented jonos for at least 3 and a half years (since I turned 18) I am disappointed to hear that the person who reviewed before me had an unpleasant experience at Jonos, I have never had any problems when I have been there and have never had any issues with rude service.
I like the atmosphere in the pub (it reminds me of the local pub near my home in Ireland), midweek it can get a bit quiet but that is a good time to chat to the bar staff and to have a quiet drink with friends- the weekend is when it gets busy, often with live music (although the music can be hit and miss). The manager of the pub is a lovely, no nonsense woman who runs a very tight ship and I have seen her on occaision grab an incredibly drunk rowdy bloke by the scruff of the neck and send him outside!
Also there is the added bonus of 'lock ins' at Jonos- that is if you are there before 11pm and are not being too obnoxious to the staff! There is also a large mix of age groups ranging from the young to the old Irish and plenty of locals too. With a definate Gaelic football & Galway theme and a nice smoking area above the pub.
I like it, so do the rest of my friends- thats all I can say really!

The Red Lion is a great pub for beer and has a great atmosphere. Located close to the Ealing Studios it has pictures from the Ealing Comedies around the walls.

It also does a cracking Sunday lunch - a choice of lamb, pork, beef or nut roast. The portions are generous but not obscenely large; you leave feeling full not ill. It is the perfect spot for recovering from a hangover, plenty of dim corners (though for light lovers there is a well lit area at the back of the pub), friendly staff and, most importantly a relaxed atmosphere.

The pub fills up by about 1 on a Sunday so to get a table be there earlier. Tubes nearby are Ealing Broadway and North Ealing.

The Grange was recommended very enthusiastically to us by our estate agent when we moved into the area. In fact he drove us specially to show us where it was.

It is located on the edge of Ealing Common, though only the windows in the dining room look out onto the Common, so be sure to book if youâ¬"d like a view on a Friday or Saturday night.

There is both a raised restaurant area and tables for food and drink around the bar, with comfy leather chairs and a prettily lit beer garden.

The food is great â¬ the lamb burger is tasty, well cooked but best for the very hungry! The stuffed vine leaves on the Greek mezze are worth buying the dish for. The Sunday lunch is delicious â¬ though I felt it was a little quiet and lacking the relaxed pub-on-a-Sunday vibe.

Under ten minutes walk from both Ealing Broadway and Ealing Common tube stops.

There are more than enough pubs in Ealing to satisfy every taste, but this is a particular favourite of ours. It seems to attract a more mixed clientele than others near us, which tend to be either very young and studenty (most of the Ealing Broadway ones, in the evenings at least), or at the opposite extreme a bit â¬Ssuburbanâ¬ (the Rose & Crown).

Here you find plenty of room to spread out, a mix of higher seating and soft armchairs, good beer and wine, and above average pub food. TVsshow football and other sports in some areas, but you can find space away from these if you prefer to chat rather than watch the game. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. This isnâ¬"t somewhere I would choose to come for dinner in the evening as I gather the pub is generally very noisy and not conducive to a pleasant meal out, but it does make a good choice for lunch. Thereâ¬"s a nice terrace with views of Pitzhanger Manor, perfect for sunny days, and inside the large first floor shares similar views and has plenty of space for diners. There are large wooden tables and comfortable leather seating. The changing displays of photos by local photographers are a nice touch. If I have a criticism itâ¬"s that service can be slow â¬ when we were there for lunch with friends on a recent Sunday we got the distinct impression that our waiter had forgotten all about us for a while, and it wasnâ¬"t busy so there was no real excuse for that.

The menu is the same as every Ha! Ha! Bar, with a lot of the regular pub choices. I like the fishcakes in particular, and Chris nearly always chooses a burger. They also do a 2 course Sunday Roast for Â£10, which sounds like a bargain though Iâ¬"ve never sampled it.

The Common Room is a stylish looking bar serving decent food, close to Ealing Common. It has a clean, modern interior, some tables out the front (on busy Uxbridge Road), and friendly service.

We have popped in there a couple of times for a drink, and for a meal on one occasion. The menu had an eclectic mix and there were plenty of wines by the glass to keep us happy.

The Ealing Park Tavern is a popular gastropub located in a not so fashionable part of Ealing. The dining room has high celings and chunky wooden furniture. There is a blackboard menu, reasonable wine list (mostly French), and service was good.

We both had rib-eye steak with chips and red wine butter - all tasty. We shared a particularly delicious vanilla bean creme brulee for desert. It was good honest food.

QUiet pub full of locals behing ealing broadway centre. BEecause its quiet pretty much anyone can get served in there and a mass gathering is not out of the question. The bar staff are friendly but dont talk much which is fine. Comfee seats, variety of beers and other drinks, outside seating and dingey toilets. FIne if you're just feeling a drink in ealing.
