Generally speaking, a really good pub. I've eaten there a few times and the food's normally quite good (though admittedly, I've only tried their burgers and fish and chips). Last time I ate there was a disaster though. The pub was nearly empty but we had to wait nearly an hour for fish and chips and a burger. We didn't get much of an apology and when the food did arrive they'd brought out the wrong burger. The food was going cold and had evidently been sat around for quite some time. The fish was quite bony and not particularly fresh or succulent. I've not eaten there since.Generally speaking, a really good pub. The Westow House is a recent addition to Crystal Palace / Upper Norwood (formerly the pub was called The Bluebottle), and after a recent refurb is a delightful place to spend some time. If you like chandaliers and drapes. Which I do!

Just don't eat the food - it's not great. Chips tasted like I made them (and I don't mean home-made, just badly made) and service can be a bit hit, miss and apologetic.

What more do you need?
Well, some snacks might be nice, rather than just a selection of crips and Cheesey Moments. ;)
