Adelphi Theatre - Adelphi by watermelon90

It can be reached easily by underground and you can see the sights at Covent Garden before the show.
The theatre itself is not as large as you would think.
The stage is very small, when you consider that this is a west end theatre putting on a top show. The seats are cramped and old fashioned, not very much leg room if you are tall. The better seats at the front of the theatre are double the money, but they are much closer to the action and you do get a better view.
The revolving stage was used a lot with some funny moments that included a few multi toned rainbow sheep, the show is good and a must see.The Adelphi theatre is set in the middle of theatre land at the Strand.
Trafalgar Studios - Intimate yet awesome by doodlekitten

As the first a several Theatre visits over a weekend, this was the venue we knew least about but the show we were most excited about seeing. It did not disappoint. Sitting in the fourth row, you really felt as if you were part of the show- those in the front row actually had the actors almost stand on their toes in parts. The curved style of the seats enables most of the audience fantastic views, although the boxes appeared to have restricted views, and there is plenty of leg room. The actors were not mic-ed up so while we could hear everything very clearly, this may have been an issue in places for people sitting further back or in one of the boxes. I would definitely return to see different shows there (nothing wrong with Fat Pig, I just prefer not to see the same show twice!) and would recommend this to anyone who wants a change from the usual big theatre shows. Was really unsure what to expect from this intimate venue, as the only seating plan when booking was confusing to say the least.
