Funland At Trocadero - over rated by clubby2

The trocadero is in soho, in coventry street, I have been here twice. Once when it was the sega centre many moons ago and more recently and it was not worth the effort on both occasions. The trocadero is a mish mash of shops and amusement arcades that is over priced and over rated. The most eye catching and memorable thing about it would be the massive escalators , which are hair raisingly scary and not for the faint hearted. Well it is on five floors. It is too pricey and not value for money and I would not go again when there are better places to go and spend quality time with the family, a definate no go for me.The trocadero is in soho, in coventry street, I have been here twice. Have been to see a couple of things here I should say that they were both good, The exit and entrance to get in to the venue is a bit small for the often massive volume of people going through the doors and we were afraid we would be crushed by every one pushing to get out at the end of the night. Other wise its ok for this sort of venue. Drink prices are high, but it is to be expected really. Queen's Theatre - smash hit by vik

The queens theatre is on shaftsbury avenue and is easy to find, with its prominent bill board style poster adorning the front of it. The show is a tear jerker to say the least, but it is amazing, so well acted and performed, so beautiful from start to finish, that you are transported to another time and place. It is a very long show though so bear in mind that you will get thirsty and hot, so take a drink, also the ques for the toilets was ridiculous and we almost missed the start of the 2nd half because of this, so plan ahead! This is my favorite bar in London. There is a friendly waitress service, and a great theatre to boot! In the middle of Soho, they are general busy, but never totally packed - I've always managed to get a table -pretty much straight away! The prices are reasonable and there is a good list of cocktails to try. There is also a full and varied wine list, which is not badly priced. The selection of beers and spirits are good. Iâ¬"ve never eaten in the Soho Theatre, but Iâ¬"ve been told that the food is good too! Nothing about this place disappoints.

After the refurbishment a few years ago this place has moved on leaps and bounds and has really good productions such has mama-mia. I found mama-mia just hilarious and the venue lends its self very well to these kinds of productions with its central location right in the middle of Leister square is great for coming in on the tube. If you want I cheap ticket here I would really advise searching the internet for cheap advance tickets. The Odeon Cinema on Tottenham Court Road in London is a fine cinema. I went there to see Spider-Man 3 last year. The screen was massive, and sound effects were incredible. I thought we sat too close though, so be weary of that. Also be aware that it costs around Â£10 per person to get in, so have a student discount card ready if you have one of those. It is nearby the tube so if you have a late showing transport home is not an issue and the refreshments they have for sale are again a bit pricey but the portions are large so you can share making it much more affordable.
