This is an excellent spot for a business lunch near the City.
It's got an authentic Italian feel to it with old school posters hung on the walls. You will (expectedly) find quite a few suits, but the atmosphere remains relaxed. One small oddity is the pulpit that the receptionist sits in, but donâ¬"t let that put you off ï`
The thing that impressed me most with Taberna Etrusca was the service. We did go for a late lunch at 2pm and there were many customers left, but the speed that our plates came through was phenomenal. Excellent flow to the meal with a piping hot plate of spaghetti arriving as it should.
Both me and my friend went for Â£16 two-course offer, which did not disappoint. The deep-fried (sorry, I canâ¬"t call it Tempura as it said on the menu, because itâ¬"s not) white-bait and prawn was ok, but the Spaghetti Aragosta (lobster or langoustine) was delicious. Very well seaoned and well portioned, it was as good as any hearty spaghetti meal should be.
We didnâ¬"t try dessert as I was quite full with the starter and main course.
Overall, a definite recommendation for a simple, decent Italian meal that wonâ¬"t break the bank and will deliver on quality.

Fuego, Pudding Lane.
Lovely place serving authentic spanish tapas. We received a really warm welcome and were amazed at how low the bill was when we left considering the quanity and quality of food we'd had. I'd certainly recommend this place and considering it's right in the heart of the City it's ideally placed.Fuego, Pudding Lane.

Rating: 4.00Now, if someone doesn't know better, they would rate this as a good Lebanese place, but, as I had my share of experiencing Lebanese cuisine, I am a little disspointed...
We ordered little meze for starters, all to share. The main one everybody wants to try is tabouleh, but, after trying this one - there's something missing and, i dare to say, even i can make it better. Halloumi cheese was nice though.
We had mixed grill and chicken shawarma to share between 4 girls and it was a lot together with meze, however, grilled lamb cubes were hard and chewy and chicken shawarma was just OK.
It's a City based restaurant so it's pricier than other ones and portions are a bit smaller. Paradise on top of London! I love this place! I love the food, the location, the views, the wine, the garden, the service...

I have been in the fortunate position where friends have taken me here for special celebrations so I havent been privy to the bill although I have been told that it certainly isnt cheap!

Although pricey Coq d'Argent should definitely be considered as a place to take someone special for a birthday lunch or for a relatives anniversary perhaps? It is certainly a place that I could not afford very often so is a special occasion type place that will always hold fond memories for me.

The lift that you go into go up to the restaurant is also fanatastic and the rooftop gardens are mesmerising. It certainly is one of London's hidden gems!Paradise on top of London! I love this place! I love the food, the location, the views, the wine, the garden, the service...

Quite a large place downstairs, Chairs were abit uncomfortable, waiters/staff were helpful. Food was very nice although it took a while for our order to come, evan though the place wasn't that busy. Great value lunch sets. Food always fresh and tasty. Friendly and efficient service. Just be aware that if a few of us order different types of sushi together, it may be served on one plate(I ended up eating all of my sushi and my friends and she wondered where her order was!)Great value lunch sets.
