Camden market has its own sense of style that can be found no where else. It has such a wide variety of fashions and accessories to choose from, that there is some thing for every one. We went looking for some funky trousers and found a lot of colours and styles that we liked. Have been many times looking for different stuff and have never been unable to find a bargain. I have found that some stalls can be over priced, so plead poverty and haggle a bit for their best prices. The selection of food out lets is great too and never fails to please. Great casual, with different designs, from the traditional thing, to the originality of the season, colors that rarely you find in any other shoe store. The quality is top, I still have got some shoes from my teen years. I find them still very useful, even if colorful.

The worst part: the prices. The shoes are very expensive. I always get them on sale, but even then they make a hole in my wallet. I try to save on clothes to spend here. Anyway, I think they sell the loveliest boots and shoes. Great way to look original (which is difficult when other shoe shop is selling the same designs).

Most instrument shops are a bit dull if you're not a musician, I'm sure. Once you've seen your 30th guitar your brain probably starts to grey out, let alone the annoying staff showing off how well they play.

Well, I challenge you to be bored in Ray Mans!

Formerly located in Parkway, now nearer to Chalk Farm, this long running family business is a treat to visit.

They sell a wide variety of instruments from four corners of the globe, with a main emphasis on Chinese and east asian traditional instruments.

Things range in price from the Â£1 or Â£2 pound bamboo flutes and jaw harps, to the Â£2000 odd sitars and wonderful hammered dulcimers in the back room.

They excel in percussion too, with many different types of shakers, rattles, small drums and finger cymbals too. The staff are very welcoming and they don't seem to mind if you have a little twang or rattle here or there.

I've always liked the Camden Lock Market, it's full of a whole bunch of differeny stuff, with new stuff showing up regularly.

I recently took a friend of mine who was visiting London from Germany to Camden and she had such fun running around this market. It is full of bracelets, rings, and other jewellery, all of which she loves.

Like I said, there's jewellery galore, but there's also a lot of very good art prints, generally of Camden itself, or celebrities from years gone by (think Freddie Mercury)

There's also a stall of zip bag thingies.. Not sure what they're called, but it's basically a bag made out of one really long zip. Quite cool really.

The downside of all this stuff is that it's all quite expensive. I suggest you try to haggle a bit for everything.
