Rating: 3.00Flame is the kind of place that looks a bit shabby and like any old food place along your average high street, but the food is surprisingly good.

The kebabs are great, and the staff don't mind making a sort of custom kebab for you, if you have a hatred for any of the basic kebab ingredients (I don't like half the stuff they normally put in kebabs). Also, they're nice in that they put more of everything else to balance it out :)

The chips match up to the standard set by the kebabs and don't taste like they're so unhealthy that they're killing you on the spot. The drinks are normal drinks.

The place itself is quite small - there's no/few seats (it's changed a few times, so I don't know what it's like right now) so Flame is a takeaway really.

I go to the above restaurant quite regularly and I have to say that in terms of the quality of the food being served, I have yet to see other than is as original. Lemonade is a very popular shwarma bar and tends to be packed every evening. They serve authentic israeli dishes served with either pitta or laffa and a eclectic slection of salads ranging from houmous to chillis. In my opinion, the best dish on the menu is the grilled shnitzel, breast of chicken, in a laffa, iraqi flatbread, with chips. It is exceptionally good value and you will usually leave the restaurant stuffed but having only spent seven or eight pounds.
The only downside to the restaurant is the fact that you have to wait quite soe time for your food if the restaurant is busy, but in the long run, that is a small price to pay for some fantastic food.
