I was surprised at the little oasis that welcomed me after rushing through busy Brixton: Although the longest standing business within the old cobbled alley way, I was informed by charming staff that the gallery is not only a gallery, but also offers a varied program of music gigs, dance performances, but also caters for private events, such as birthday parties, smaller wedding receptions, etc...well apparently, Red Gate Gallery is open for all...other businesses down the alleyway are all of a artistic nature, carnival, film-makers, theatre re-hearsal space; maybe a new art yard to be discovered?

I certaily liked it and I give it 5 stars...
